Enrique Tomas - Dallas
Enrique Tomás is the largest purveyor of Spain's legendary jamón ibérico. The Enrique Tomás empire extends to over 50 locations around the world including, Lima, London and Paris and we are happy to be the first U.S. outpost.
Enrique Tomás Dallas includes a small store front featuring a variety of Spanish cured hams and other products to-go, a cozy dining room, full bar downstairs and an upstairs lounge and tapas bar. We do accept walk-ins, and we invite you to head upstairs when you arrive!
Enjoy lunch, dinner or a Spanish Sunday brunch. In addition to Spanish cheese and jamón tasting platters, there will be traditional and contemporary Spanish cuisine. Starters include ibérico secreto carpaccio, and gazpacho Andaluz. Heartier fare includes: asturian fabada topped with shaved ham; solomillo ibérico; and an ibérico secreto burger. Seafood fans will have many options, including two different paellas, Galician octopus, stuffed calamari, and trout baked in a salt crust.
We had a horrible experience at Enrique Tomas. The service was horrendous. We were never offered anything to drink other than the water that the waiter served us. That's strange since they have a full menu of wines. We asked for a Spanish omelette and the waiter said that they had ran out of this appetizer. I then found another waiter and asked if they had the Spanish omelette and told him that we came to that restaurant specifically to eat that. He later came back with the Spanish omelette. The presa iberica was delicious but the portion was small. The pasta carbonara was nothing to brag about. The waiter took what it seemed 15 minutes to give us a bill when asked for it. The credit card bill then came higher than the cost of the food. I asked that it be changed. The waiter came back 15 minutes later and again overcharged me. I asked that it be changed again and then finally came back with the right bill another 15 minutes later. I've never experienced such bad service. I am still in awe of what happened.
Excellent service and good food! Nice atmosphere.
Fantastic authentic restaurant for friends to meet, great drinks, food to share. Service was fantastic, the waiters are great sales people. Happy hour is awesome- ability to choose several items off of the HH menu. Overall great experience.
Excellent food and service. The jamon de campo is a must try!
My experience was good. The Jamon was wonderful. The other food was ok. I’ll give them a pass on the wine list and another
chance to correct...most selections I wanted were unavailable. The list is heavily swayed towards Tempranillo. I’d like to see more Garnacha and a better variety overall. Considering we’re evolving from Covid, I’ll give them a second chance. But, for now, Barcelona is the all around better choice.
Good plan for a date! Love the jamón, but not the same as Spain it must be made for US..
The first two wines we ordered they were out of...the third one we ordered was $120 on the menu, but retailed for $20- 6 X markup! Never seen a markup that high, and we felt ripped off...would never go back for that reason alone After telling the waiter I didn’t eat pork or beef he brought a dish with pork -had to send it back...the seafood paella was just ok...no reason to return
Food was great
Way over priced, foods not all that !
Absolutely delicious. Stellar service. Will return.
Enrique Tomas does not dissapoint. We loved the food, the drinks and the service!
Excelente place to eat and have some drinks. Food is amazing, staff is great, music is great, everything was perfect.
The food was pretty good overall but the menu seemed more condensed with somewhat limited options. Some of the items weren’t available like mussels. One of the items we ordered was the aperitif tapas which has mussels, olives, and boquerinos. They brought out the dish with olives and two other items like mackerel. We weren’t told of the mussels issue until after. The waiter was kind enough to comp the dish. Everything else tasted fine but some dishes seemed overpriced for what you get.
The Ibiza vibes pitcher was $45 but didn’t taste as good as we had hoped. It didn’t taste bad by any means but needs a little something else.
The patio is nice but the benches/seats you sit on the larger tables are too wobbly and not so comfortable.
I would come back again to try their full menu. The jamon iberico was great.
Of course, the Spanish cured hams are a must! But also, the mushroom appetizer was amazing as well as some really good specialty drinks from the bar. If the weather is nice, sit on the patio.
Loved our experience here. Took me back to a restaurant in Spain which is just what I was craving. Jamon, cheese, pan con tomate, garlic shrimp, octopus, cheesecake..yum yum! Manuel was wonderful!!
Their Tapas were very good, our waiter Mohammed was so attentive it made the night and the experience even better.
The food was delicious.
The best Spain food.
The real deal Spanish food. Was with friends including one from Sevilla! My favorite was the mushroom croquets and the calamari. Others loved the patatas bravas and the lechón. Only mosh fire was the really sweet and rather generic sangria. Otherwise a must do for all Spanish tapas lovers
Everything here is always amazing
Excelent service excellent food will definitely be back soon
La única observación no hay social distancing por pandemia.
Por lo demás extraordinario
Our waiter, Manuel,
could not have been better. The food was exceptional and we will be bringing our friends back.
Just amazing, overall the best spanish restaurant I’ve tried in Texas. The Iberico Ham they have is the best quality and paellas are great, same as the ones in Spain.
Very good service and wine menu. Strongly recommended!
Love this place! Amazing food!
We were two parties of four for a family birthday. Manager was very accommodating and sat us at a large table where it would be easy for us to visit and share tapas. Food was good but not as delish as our previous visit. Service was spotty, we were not offered a second cocktail or dessert. Overall experience a bit pricey for the lack of waiter attention.
We have a monthly dinner outing with 2 other married couples. Each month we select a new establishment that the majority of the group has never visited. This month was Enrique Thomas. They were fabulous in every way. We decided to share each dish with the table and we were not disappointed. Wine selection paired amazingly with each and every dish. Let me tell you, it is tough to please 6 different people from different regions of the country with one meal! Everyone was overwhelmed with the flavor combinations and quality of ingredients. It was a little on the pricy side but we also had 5 bottles of wine for the table. It was a wonderful night for all!
Manuel was great!! Our meal was amazing as well. Wonderful experience
Overall a great dining experience - food was very good, definitely try the hams - delicious salty, melt in your mouth goodness. Also had we’re croquettes, buratta salad and octopus. All were really good. Good drink menu. Our server (Miguel) was awesome. Would definitely go back.
This was my first time to dine at Enrique Tomas and the service we received was top notch. I knew about paella but had no idea about jamón. After our server Shawn explained the jamón we were given a great lesson and now I know what jamón is. Truly a great experience when you can learn something while having a great meal. I will highly recommend this restaurant. Keep it up and thanks for a great night.
Overall fantastic. Nice ambience, excellent food. The jamon is as advertised - top notch. Better than some that have had in actual Madrid, to be honest. Rather unique place for Dallas. We loved it and will definitely go back.
Our 1st visit to Enrique Tomas was great, Sean provided phenomenal service explaining the menu and making the perfect recommendations. We started with the Experience which included each of the aged Jamon, a cheese plate and artichoke appetizer. All very tasty and perfectly paired. Then finished with the Queen salad another great choice. A couple cocktails and a bottle of wine and we were full and happy!
Manuel was the best !! guided us threw the menu and made some choices for us. Will recommend to all of our friends
Best service I have had at a restaurant in quite a awhile. Very hospitable.
I had my parents in town from Houston and this was the first time going here. The service and food was amazing! We loved everything the waiter suggested and we will def be coming back!
Thought it was overpriced for the overall value. Two different items were cold. When we addressed one, the manager stereotyped us as traditional Americans who had never experienced or understood Spanish food (little did he know that we had actually been to Spain). It was extremely noisy when we first arrived, but eventually quieted down after two large parties left. Even though it was very difficult to hear our waiter, he provided very good service.
Manuel took great care of us. Best food we have had in a long time. Will be back to try the paella.
A very special night. The wait staff and kitchen were fantastic. We dined on a rainy Sunday evening so not sure of a typical Friday or Saturday night ambience but we were made to feel special from the time we walked in. We tried a variety of plates but the table favorite was the shrimp dish and the aged Spanish ham.
The cocktails were as beautiful as they were delicious and finally the cheesecake was “THE BEST I EVER HAD!” Can’t describe how delicious. Thank you for an evening we will not forget. We will return - to celebrate mutual birthdays 😍
Everything was good and the Mediterranean Paella was amazing!
