Enrique Tomas - Dallas
Enrique Tomás is the largest purveyor of Spain's legendary jamón ibérico. The Enrique Tomás empire extends to over 50 locations around the world including, Lima, London and Paris and we are happy to be the first U.S. outpost.
Enrique Tomás Dallas includes a small store front featuring a variety of Spanish cured hams and other products to-go, a cozy dining room, full bar downstairs and an upstairs lounge and tapas bar. We do accept walk-ins, and we invite you to head upstairs when you arrive!
Enjoy lunch, dinner or a Spanish Sunday brunch. In addition to Spanish cheese and jamón tasting platters, there will be traditional and contemporary Spanish cuisine. Starters include ibérico secreto carpaccio, and gazpacho Andaluz. Heartier fare includes: asturian fabada topped with shaved ham; solomillo ibérico; and an ibérico secreto burger. Seafood fans will have many options, including two different paellas, Galician octopus, stuffed calamari, and trout baked in a salt crust.
The food is delicious and the restaurant itself is very nice. However, I’ve been to Enrique Tomas three times now and each time, I’ve received poor service. The staff is rude for no apparent reason. I won’t be going back.
Great service and good food. Like other reviews, the paella was over-cooked and the seafood was chewy. But the Spanish omelette was wonderful, as was the tomato bread and manchego bites. My husband loved the jamon experience. We’ll go back; we just won’t order the paella.
We did a meal of tapas and, while we ordered too much, everything was great. And now we have another meal for home!
Great food and service - love this place!
Authentic Spanish food done well. Will certainly be back
Authentic Spanish food, well made and good quality ingredients. Nice friendly staff.
The food was great however we had to ask for plates and silverware.
Cool place but most food was disappointing. Paella was seriously overcooked so good seafood was rubbery. Jamon was excellent. Live music was great but so loud it was hard to converse.
The food is unusual I have not found anywhere in Dallas But Enrique Tomas. He atmosphere and the service are terrific and a good match for the authentic flavors offered by their menu. I recommend this unconditionally.
This is the third time we have taken friends to Enrique and each time it gets better and better. Might be my favorite restaurant in Dallas right now. You have to try to strawberry cheesecake. I am not a cheesecake fan but this is like no other - delicious!!!!
Overall a little disappointed with the food and our service was just bad! I wouldn’t necessarily call just a tapas restaurant… We’re just a bunch of appetizers
Great service and food
Good experience with jamon serrano but not all dishes are worth to keep in the Menu, like the San Jacobs that is completely lack of flavor, harsh to chew and totally irrelevant. Paellas need a little bit of more work in the seasoning and zaffron use to give that Spanish taste (you have a competitor in Plano, Tx, Legacy West that easily beats you on this).
Service from all personnel is outstanding!
To start, we’re from Spain so we know good, real Spanish food! We tried about 18 different tapas and 3 or 4 entrees that our group of 7 all shared. Everything was very tasty except the Mediterranean Paella.. it truly had an awful taste, waiter removed it from our table and bill. Our favorites were the pulpo (octopus), patatas bravas, Spanish tortilla, mussels, the manchego cheese dip, and the Jamon Experience platter!
Host was extremely nice! Our waiter and the busser were both very nice and did their best.. it was lack of staff that was the issue. There was literally only 1 waiter for the entire restaurant, and all tables were full. He wasn’t 100% accurate or came around often, but he literally couldn’t and we understood. However, management really should not have only one waiter working so many tables at all!
Wine selection was very poor. We ordered about 4 different Spanish wines and none were available. A couple of food items were also unavailable. We skipped dessert but had espressos and cappuccinos which were excellent!
Overall, we would like to go back for sure because the food was tasty. The atmosphere and music was wonderful! I would just suggest having more servers working and a better selection of wine available, especially Spanish wines.
We went for an early dinner (eating with toddlers so don't like to disrupt other patrons) and the staff were very nice and accommodating and even my kids loved it. Food was beautifully plated and delicious. A great Spanish experience right here in Dallas.
I would recommend ordering the jamon and cheese - and the pickled anchovies - to go, but the dining experience isn't great. It may be that they are still struggling with service as we come out of Covid. Also, if you're going to require service staff to wear masks, they should actually wear masks fully and not around their chins.
Food was okay. Their jamon options were exquisite. Would go here for the charcuterie but not the food. Paella was meh. Drinks were DELICIOUS
Food was good but management was terrible.
The jamon is amazing.
Menu hard to read. Not many dishes described in English so we couldn’t figure out what we might like. We decided to go to dinner elsewhere after appetizer and drinks. Drinks were good but were $10 for happy hour. Calamari was rubbery. Service was good but we won’t be returning.
FANTASTIC AS ALWAYS. SERVICE IS ALWAYS ATTENTIVE. MENU SELECTIONS ARE TERRIFIC. AND FOOD WAS AMAZING AS ALWAYS. WE PREFER TAPAS TO SHARE WHICH IS A GREAT WAY TO GO. ABSOLUTELY BE BACK SOON!
Probablemente la mejor comida española en Dallas pero pésimo servicio y les falta capacitación a los meseros. No tienen idea...
Food and services was amazing!! I will come back for sure
Fun restaurant with fantastic Spanish food.
I’ve been to this place several times since they’ve opened, but absolutely the best experience last night. There were 4 of us, so we just let the waiter take us where he thought we should go for the best all around experience of the food. We started with “The Jamon Experience” which is a sampling of all their Spanish hams. Unbelievable. The iberico was stunning. Get the experience the first time, but I guarantee you will go straight for the Iberico after that. Just amazing. We had some olives, and the wonderful bread they serve with crushed tomatoes, garlic and olive oil on top. We had the octopus, the pasta and a pork dish that was grilled and served with a Spanish version of chimichurri. So good. The wine steward recommended 2 different Spanish wines to pair with the meal, and we got both. Our waiter was especially attentive and helpful. I would also highly recommend sitting at the bar to drink and eat. A great experience as well. 5 stars!
Loved Enrique Tomas! We felt like we were back in Spain celebrating our anniversary! Jamon was great and paella! Look forward to go back!
The staff was amazing. Great drinks and cocktail list, great appetizers, definitely want to try the jámon special next time!
Enrique Tomas truly is Spain in Dallas. Their executive chef and maestro jamonero are both from Barcelona, Spain. Their food and jamón are out of this world. The octopus is the best in town, as well as their cheesecake (best I have ever had). Service was great and ambiance as well. Will be back many many times.
Enrique Tomas is Spain in Dallas.
This is a disservice to actual Spanish food...the only thing decent at this place is the jamón even though it is severely overpriced for what it is...
Like a quick flight to Spain. The food is impeccable and staff does their best to make the guest comfortable and satisfied. This is a treasure to have in the DFW area. Make it a destination.
Great selection of Spanish tapas, main dishes, and drinks. Be sure to try the patatas bravas, paella, queso manchego dip, and salmon.
We unfortunately had to leave early due to a member of our party getting a migraine, and the staff were very kind and accommodating. What we did have - a sangria, cappuccino and olives - were delicious.
Wonderful authentic Spanish restaurant. Such a great find in Dallas Texas. We’ll be returning many times for their fantastic paella the best this side of the Atlantic.
Did not think the food was good. Very expensive fir the quality.
Amazing food, service was great and ambiance was great
Great experience! Take me back to Madrid!
Mother’s Day Brunch
The food was amazing. But we constantly had to call the server over to order, or get another plate etc. Service was choppy, no flow.
It was an ok experience, we when with some friends to try out the menu. Waiter wasn’t help at all in introducing us food. Keep saying “look over the menu we have a lot of different food” I kept asking what he
Recommended smh. Anyways we tried the sample platter of all the cuts of pork. Waiter just drop off the platter and didn’t even show us what’s + what. Until I flagged someone down to explain to us the selections. Anyways food was great, red Snapple cooked in a salt cocoon was awesome. Will I return probably not.
Best genuine jamón serrano I've tried in the US. Spend the money for the premium sampler of the sliced jamón serrano. The difference is worth the extra cost. Food was very authentic and tasty.
