   Charming spot in the Quays - the best spot - small lovely indoor dining, ditto on the terrace. V v gd home cooking. Great team. Thank you for perfect post Marathon pasta! 💫

   I have eaten at Emilia's Aldgate and Baker Street restaurants before but was disappointed with Emilia's St Katharine Docks. The restaurant was very cramped and noise level wasn't the best. It took a long while to get served; I was sitting at the window bar as a solo diner but the waitstaff were prioritising seating group tables and my order wasn't taken for about 20 minutes (and after other diners who had arrived later). The pesto pasta was delicious but the bruschetta was not toasted so most of the bread was very soggy and not nice to eat (the tomatoes were flavoured well, though). Due to the poor service, I asked for the bill without the "optional" service charge and the waitress asked me quite bluntly why I wanted it to be removed. I don't think it is appropriate to put customers on the spot like this as they shouldn't need to justify the removal of a so-called "optional" service charge - the whole point of it being "optional" is that you can choose whether you pay it or not. Unfortunately I would not go back to this branch and would advise others to avoid and go to Aldgate or Baker Street instead.

   Wanted to go Emilia’s for a very long time. I booked a table and got seated outside as requested even though I was told a table was waiting for that same table, where I then stated that I had booked a table but the other people waiting had left so we got that table. Service was slow had to ask for dessert menu waited a while to order drinks and food. We received the bill which should have been £67 x2 instead got charged £97 per couple which was annoying, the manager came out barely apologised and issued the overcharge per coupe. Not sure when the money will come back to our account but the waitress split the total bill and managed to get the numbers the wrong way which is fine but would have expected an apology that was sincere. All in all, it was ok, no rush to return. Food was ok , dessert we had tiramisu which we didn’t really enjoy.

   Nice pasta as always. However a few comments: too much sauce (literally it was more sauce than pasta, so just a bit less guys) and also service was not very attentive. I guess St Katherine’s is a smaller branch so not as essential to do quick turns but asking three times for a bill wasn’t the best! Don’t worry, I’ll still be back to Emilias, but maybe Baker St or Canary Wharf which are my usuals!

   Was visiting London for the first time by the Tower Bridge and came across this restaurant where I had the best pasta Ive ever had in my life! The food was so good here that I went back the next day!

   Very good place for fresh tasty pasta with interesting sauces and lovely flavours. Very friendly service as well. Recommend the spring special ravioli with ricotta, amalfi lemon in a pea and leek sauce.

    We always love eating here - for the great food and lovely surroundings. There was a slight mix up with the order but quickly corrected and the staff are always so helpful and friendly
