Great place, delicious pasta and reasonable prices!
Fabulous fresh food & gorgeous fresh original, real pasta dishes.
Very friendly staff & attentive service from all.
Definitely want to return.
Amazing pasta, everyone really enjoyed it and had a great time
The food is delicious. Surprised by the Tiramisum, it is really nice and I enjoyed the whole dining experience here. Will definitely come back again in the future
Food was amazing, service was average didn’t feel too welcomed though. Only complaint is it felt like a rainforest inside (super humid, there was condensation all over the windows and even the tables). Felt too uncomfortable to ask if they could open a window or door or something.
Everything is okay but a lot of items were unavailable
Very dark. Had to ask for candles to read the menu. Food great, service great but need to switch some lights on!
Great service, food absolutely delicious. Recommend standard seating. Tables quite close together which was fine for me + partner, but may not be to the taste of others.
It was amazing and the Caccio e Pepe was to die for.
Service was very good, foood was simple but tasted delicious, would definitely recommend
Brilliant food and great value for money. Really attentive and friendly staff. Will definitely be returning.
Nice fresh food and good service, wine is also good value
Really tasty, lovely pasta!
The only improvement I would say, is I think a bigger menu (offering more starters/sides) would be great.
And the drinks we had weren't great (a cocktail, and a white wine were quite difficult to drink) so more options here too would be great.
But overall, YUMMY pasta, great service and nice ambience.
Lovely pasta dishes and well priced for London. Staff were attentive and good atmosphere.
Éramos un grupo que hicimos reserva previa. La comida muy buena. Somos españoles.
Cierran cocina a las 22h por lo que has de pedir muy rápido. Teníamos reserva 21:30h. No pudimos pedir postre.
Let’s start by saying I had high expectations due to the hype around their “homemade” pasta.
We arrived at the restaurant and it was extremely dark. They placed us at a table for 2 with no space to move and we were constantly pushed by the waiters going around. We noticed 4 more tables for 2 completely empty and kindly asked if we could move; they refused as “it’s all organised like this, sorry”, very strange.
The menu offers average starters, and average sides. Skip to the main event: the pasta (8 options). I picked truffled cacio e Pepe caserecce and my friend ordered a Salmon carbonara.
Let me say I always finish my dish even if it’s not the best, as I don’t like to make a fuss. However, this was absolutely terrible. Pasta was extremely overcooked, floppy and mushy, the taste was bland almost like eating plastic. I was in shock, never would I expect to be absolutely disgusting. My friend dish was less overcooked but taste again was bland and watery.
At this point we didn’t want to complain so we decided to stop eating and just ask for the bill. The waiter approached us and asked how it was. We said “not great unfortunately”. He apologised and offered a complimentary dessert/coffee, so we asked for 2 espresso.
Then the bill arrived and it went downhill. The ink in the receipt was barely visible so we just asked to split evenly. The waitress told me it was £26.75 each, so I paid without thinking and then she realised the actual total was £31.50 so she started apologising. I said not to worry my friend could have just paid the rest. The waitress told my friend she had to pay £6.75, which at the time we didn’t think and left thinking it was right. The right amount left to paid was £4. Once left, we had a look at the bill and guess what not only we paid more but we ended up paying the 2 ESPRESSOS they offered us.
NEVER AGAIN. STOP hyping this place. Go and find authentic Italian gems in London.
Loved the food and the staff were all so friendly highly recommended sitting on the high table!
It is tasteless. We ordered the walnut sauce caserecce and the truffle and pepe. Both tasteless.
The food was excellent, the service was great, the ambience was amazing!
Excellent food but music is way too loud to have a comfortable meal with friends.
Best pasta I’ve ever had. We all ordered different ones and every each of them was amazing. I will definitely come back to try all of them!
Very enjoyable experience and would not hesitate to recommend others to try Emilia's Crafted Pasta.
Mix up with receiving food, took over an hour.
Service staff lovely and apologetic
Best pasta I have ever had in London. Both restaurants are amazing
We were going in expecting a delicious Italian experience with red wine and a tomatoe bolognese. It was over priced and not at all something I would recommend. I found the ethos and the story behind the restaurant inspiring but the quality is the food was unfortunately below par.
Lovely atmosphere- definitely coming again!! Such a great night!
As much as I look to review for guidance on where to have my next meal out, I’m delighted I didn’t pay too much attention to the pre ious reviews about the customer service being slow. On my particular occasion, the service was excellent, very attentive. The food was DELICIOUS. Some of the best ravioli I had. Safe to say I will be going there again!
Felt a little abandoned in the doorway when we arrived within four minutes of our booking time and there was no table. Also no gap between first and second course (absolutely no gap) suggesting our pasta was ready some time before we had finished our antipasto. Otherwise the food and wine were enjoyable and the service attentive and friendly.
Too loud… you can’t even order properly. Food was ok, but difficult to eat because of the size of the tavle for 2
Best pasta in London hands down. Recommend getting starter (burrata is amazing) and main dish for full experience
That was our second attempt to get into the Aldgate restaurant and it was worth it.
The onkt thing I would say is the restaurant is quite dark which makes reading the menu a but difficult but nice venue and great food. Would visit again.
The best pasta i’ve had in London so far!
The food was so good. The menu was simple yet covered the pasta bases for any Italian craving I would have.
Best pasta in London for me! Highly recommended!!!
The food is so great, and value for money for sure, portions are generous too. However service was extremely slow. They were friendly and once we had ordered something it came timely but to get someone to notice us and come to the table so we can order or get the bill took ages each time.
Great food, pleasant surroundings and good staff care. Thanks
Really lovely food and a reasonable price for London! I will definitely go back again!
Marathon carb loading! It was great! Food was delicious, good value and good service. Would go back!
Lovely pasta and lovely staff
