Ember Kitchen’s Josper oven will be firing up a little earlier on the weekends. The historic power plant turned latin-inspired restaurant will open its doors from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. The Ember Brunch brings a whole new food and beverage experience to our guests. Utilizing our signature method of incorporating a Josper component into every dish and elevating homestyle foods from various cultures, we have created a menu that showcases nostalgic names and bold latin flavors. This new service will feature tableside coffee and tea service, as well as a cocktail program that plays on morning classics such as bloody maria's, micheladas, and carajillos—perfect for Sunday brunch.

The staff was amazing! This was our first time here, and we’re from Houston. We came here to celebrate my lady’s birthday this week with this dinner being the highlight. We did, unfortunately, show up with two extra people than I originally reserved for. No problem! The staff was resilient and responsive to the situation. They offered us a fish dish (market fish crudo) that my lady really wanted. Later on, the waitress came back and told us that fish dish was sold out (when it was presented it sounded delicious and my lady wanted it), which made all of us sad lol. The birthday girl wanted it. Later, someone whom I assume is a manager, came back and told us that the chef found a way to make the dish for her! That news (and the dish) really added to the overall experience and she was very happy! Thank yall for making this a very special experience for her!

Our Server, Megan was great. The Food was too spicy for our taste and not really disclosed on the menu. We had three appetizers, Tuna Tartar, Crudo, and Crispy Tamal. The Crudo was good, not the other two. We split the Josper 1/2 Chicken, with sides of Plantains and Beef Fat Potatoes. The Chicken was really good, and the sides adequate but not great. The noise level was Fierce. My vesper martini arrived with no lemon peel. We had Gelato, Mango was GREAT, the Lemon was not a Gelato, but an Ice and not good. As a BAR meet and GREET a yes. Food, THE CHICKEN WAS GOOD AND PLEANTY FOT TWO.

We had the best dinner at Ember! We ordered the market fish, crudo, crispy tamal, josper chicken, filet, plantains and broccolini. It was fabulous! Also the cocktails and chocolate flan were also wonderful. However, the best part was the service. Matilda took such good care of us, and we would not have had the same experience without her! The music was a little loud on the second floor, but Matilda was able to have it turned down. She guided us thru an excellent meal! We can’t wait to go back!

Genuinely the best dinner I’ve ever had. Kudos to the team in the kitchen. We ordered like half the menu and everything was phenomenal.

Ive been to Ember 3 times before this time and I’ve had everything on their menu. I can tell you all the food here is great, the seafood to the dry aged steak, haven’t found anything I haven’t liked. I also love the music they okay and the staff is great. This is one of my favorite places to dine at Austin hands down.
