   The food was fabulous and so is the atmosphere. We have eaten at the Glenview EMA many times and the service was fabulous. That was not the case this time at all. Our server had so many tables. He was unable to accommodate our table. The main dishes all came at different times and not a few minutes later 15 minutes later. One of the orders came wrong and although they took it off the bill, we were all finished eating and one of our guests did not get their meal until we were done eating. We had to ask multiple times for things that we have requested. It just wasn’t the service that we are used to at Lettuce Entertainment You.

   Ema is an outstanding place to eat. Our server Mark was amazing and helpful. He walked us through us through the entire menu and helped us make the best choices. All of the managers checked on my husband's food allergies. We appreciate all of you, and it was an honor to meet CJ.

   Everything perfect including that they bought out a birthday dessert even though no one ordered off the dessert menu. O e of my favorite restaurants. We will be back for special occasions, and just because.

   We have loved the original Ema in downtown Chicago, so now we are checking out the one in Glenview and it is just as good! All dishes were fresh and wonderfully savory with delicate sauces. The only but, was that the halibut was over cooked. That said, the accompanying sauce was so superb, that it helped with the dryness of the halibut. We also recommend the wine list. We also want to recommend our server, Michaela (sp?) who was warm, attentive and with a great sense of humor.

   Lunch was delicious. We had sweet corn hummus, sandwiches, salads, and kebabs. Service was excellent.

   Excellent food at an upscale restaurant. The ambience was elegant and lively. The staff were pleasant, helpful and informed. I would highly recommend Ema.

   The service was superb. The food was great. It was a bit noisy. The Old Fashioneds were excellent. Will have to return here soon.

   We had a reservation and were told when we arrived (on time) that our table was being cleaned. We were seated nearly 20 minutes later. That was the longest table cleaning I ever experienced. If we arrived 20 minutes late, our reservation would’ve been cancelled. It is NOT ok to overbook and make guests wait that long. The menu was limited, the food was ok. 3% optional charge took a while to get removed. The charge is just annoying & it is a matter of principle for me not to pay it. I couldn’t just remove it myself, they had to get manager involved. Simply unnecessary. Will not be going there again.

    Our server, Sophia, explained or suggested starting with appetizer, next a vegetable & she was so cute making sure we added a protein. Her charm enhanced our experience. We loved everything we ordered— the hummus appetizer spread, charred brussel sprouts and the charred chicken kabob was moist. The dessert wonderful & she brought us birthday surprise. Loved the ambiance of the place, as well.
