Ēma is a Mediterranean and California-inspired restaurant from Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants located at 1320 Patriot Blvd. The menu, crafted by Chef Partner CJ Jacobson features spreads, dips and assorted mezze, Mediterranean small plates, with an emphasis on Hummus & Spreads, Raw, Vegetables and Kebabs. Signature dishes include Moroccan Onion Dip, Spinach & Feta Spread, Tahini Caesar Salad, Octopus Carpaccio and Spicy Brisket Kefta Kebab.

The beverage program showcases cocktails with flavors crafted from Mediterranean ingredients like chinola, fig, fresno chile and coriander. The wine program, curated by Sommelier John C. Slatter, features a globally sourced list of over 70 selections with a strong focus on wineries practicing organic and natural production across the Mediterranean, including ancient grape varieties from Greece, Lebanon and Italy.

We had a wonderful experience at Ema for my husband's birthday dinner! The salmon, mushroom escargot, and hummus were delicious, and the fresh, warm bread made each bite unforgettable. To top it off, the Greek yogurt froyo was the perfect balance of tangy and sweet, so good with the olive oil and salt. We loved all the surprising flavor combinations. We can't wait to go back!

Ema accommodated a large group of us and the service was amazing, we loved our waitress Cecilia! Food was very good and all shareable portions. Great ambience, city vibes in the suburbs!

Cecelia was the best server we have ever had in any restaurant. Everything was great. Seriously we would recommend emas for Cecelia alone

Great menu, a lot of flavor in every dish. The room is a little loud but not annoyingly loud. Deserts were fantastic! We will be back.

EMA has a wonderful atmosphere and our server was excellent. The food is unique and really good. That being said, I had indicated on my reservation that I didn’t want to be seated in the bar area. When we were being brought to our table it was literally on the other side of the bar. I was with an elderly friend with a hearing issue so we didn’t want bar noise. The entire restaurant was open and pretty much available as my reservation was at 5:00pm. We were told we would have to wait for another table. While we waited, people were coming in and being seated. It was quite awkward especially since we arrived right on time. Eventually we got seated in a booth which was quiet.

I used to love Ema, with a creative and flavorable menu at reasonable prices. But this last dinner was questionable at best. It took about almost 60 minutes for our entrées to arrive after ordering. Waitress, long on enthusiasm, didn’t check on us as we were just sitting and waiting 40 minutes after appetizers. Both entrées were chicken kebabs, one stuffed with ground chicken, that was a taste dud. Left most over, uneaten. No remedy offered. Place has difficult acoustics, with much noise and we were next to a shrill table of screamers. Hard to have any relaxing dinner. A drink didn’t solve anything. The $22 (gulp) Margarita in a tumbler was mostly ice, and with no salt rim. Surprised with pricing on most drinks since the other prices are fair. Sorry, Lettuce. Bad meal this time around.
