Benvenuti Nella Mia Cucina, Belli De Nonna! Before we dive into the delicious feast prepared for you, let me give you a little taste of my vita. I was born in the heart of Rome, and I've been cooking up a storm my entire life! My cucina has always been the center of the universe for my 3 daughters, 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, their friends, loved ones, and acquaintances – everyone was always Benvenuto!

Now, we've brought that same love and flavor right here to San Diego. My beloved grandson, Niccolo', and his amore, Cesarina, are opening the doors of my Cucina with the same warm heart and passion.

Wondering how I made it to 95? Well, it's simple: I ate everything that's served here and filled my life with amore! So, Benvenuti! Don't hesitate to indulge in "Scarpetta" - dip that bread into the sauce, just like my grandchildren used to do at the stove when they thought I wasn't looking.

Here, Belli De Nonna, it’s all about food, family, and creating beautiful memories!

    Our waiter left us hanging after a nice meal, which required us to flag down another team member to get the check and again to pay the check. This happened despite the waiter and trainee walking by our table multiple times. Definitely not the same level of service we experienced on our last visit.

    It's officially a tie. I used to think that Cesarina was the best restaurant in San Diego, and it still remains #1, but Elvira has now moved into a tie for first place. This place is wonderful. The drinks are great, the service is perfect, and the food is the best you will find anywhere in town.

    All in all great job!! Pasta was a little inconsistent but still flavorful. Wine list if fun and service was the star of the show! Knowledgeable and efficient service.

    Service was exceptional. We had a caprese, cacio e Pepe, and Carbonara and definitely weren’t disappointed. They make it just like in Italy which is hard to find in San Diego. We will be back.

    This was our first time here and it was one of the best experiences we have ever had in a restaurant. It was truly exceptional from the over the top service to the food presentation and the specialty cocktails. We had Nonna’s meatballs, their caprese and the rigatoni al sugo, which were all fantastic. All of the staff were amazing, especially Andrea, Sophia, Graham, Luis and Juanpi. We felt like we were in Rome in Nonna’s house with her family. Andrea went above and beyond, surprising us with a complementary flan with caramel sauce and toasted hazelnuts, a truly decadent dessert. We love their sister restaurant, Cesarina, but the Elvira experience is just a notch above. It is now going to be our favorite place to bring our friends and family.

    Everything was great super experience we left their management had your sister restaurant which is also excellent vegan experience called Chesarina

    Dom was a phenomenal server! We got seated a little late because of a buyout however he completely made up for the experience on our anniversary with his great service! Thank you!
