Benvenuti Nella Mia Cucina, Belli De Nonna! Before we dive into the delicious feast prepared for you, let me give you a little taste of my vita. I was born in the heart of Rome, and I've been cooking up a storm my entire life! My cucina has always been the center of the universe for my 3 daughters, 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, their friends, loved ones, and acquaintances – everyone was always Benvenuto!

Now, we've brought that same love and flavor right here to San Diego. My beloved grandson, Niccolo', and his amore, Cesarina, are opening the doors of my Cucina with the same warm heart and passion.

Wondering how I made it to 95? Well, it's simple: I ate everything that's served here and filled my life with amore! So, Benvenuti! Don't hesitate to indulge in "Scarpetta" - dip that bread into the sauce, just like my grandchildren used to do at the stove when they thought I wasn't looking.

Here, Belli De Nonna, it’s all about food, family, and creating beautiful memories!

    All in all great job!! Pasta was a little inconsistent but still flavorful. Wine list if fun and service was the star of the show! Knowledgeable and efficient service.

    Service was exceptional. We had a caprese, cacio e Pepe, and Carbonara and definitely weren’t disappointed. They make it just like in Italy which is hard to find in San Diego. We will be back.

    This was our first time here and it was one of the best experiences we have ever had in a restaurant. It was truly exceptional from the over the top service to the food presentation and the specialty cocktails. We had Nonna’s meatballs, their caprese and the rigatoni al sugo, which were all fantastic. All of the staff were amazing, especially Andrea, Sophia, Graham, Luis and Juanpi. We felt like we were in Rome in Nonna’s house with her family. Andrea went above and beyond, surprising us with a complementary flan with caramel sauce and toasted hazelnuts, a truly decadent dessert. We love their sister restaurant, Cesarina, but the Elvira experience is just a notch above. It is now going to be our favorite place to bring our friends and family.

    Dom was a phenomenal server! We got seated a little late because of a buyout however he completely made up for the experience on our anniversary with his great service! Thank you!

    Absolutely incredible experience at Elvira this past weekend for brunch. This might be the best Italian food I’ve ever had, including in Italy. We ordered so much food and the standouts were the caprese salad and the frittelle di nonna. My husband loved the Colazione di Nonna Elvira and said the pastry is one of the best pastries he’s ever had. The bread is also incredible and stayed good even leftover. If you are on the fence, GO!

    It was our first time at elvira & it was so cute! You can tell the food is great quality and the staff is super attentive and professional. We ordered the carbonara pizza and it was really salty for our liking but our server was quick to swap our pizza out and we ended up with the diavola which was amazing. Thank you!!
