Benvenuti Nella Mia Cucina, Belli De Nonna! Before we dive into the delicious feast prepared for you, let me give you a little taste of my vita. I was born in the heart of Rome, and I've been cooking up a storm my entire life! My cucina has always been the center of the universe for my 3 daughters, 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, their friends, loved ones, and acquaintances – everyone was always Benvenuto!

Now, we've brought that same love and flavor right here to San Diego. My beloved grandson, Niccolo', and his amore, Cesarina, are opening the doors of my Cucina with the same warm heart and passion.

Wondering how I made it to 95? Well, it's simple: I ate everything that's served here and filled my life with amore! So, Benvenuti! Don't hesitate to indulge in "Scarpetta" - dip that bread into the sauce, just like my grandchildren used to do at the stove when they thought I wasn't looking.

Here, Belli De Nonna, it’s all about food, family, and creating beautiful memories!

    The service could’ve been better. Our server never really asked us if we needed anything she only spoke to us in the beginning and right before we left. I did try to get her attention many times but she ignored us and walked to other tables. The pasta felt very watery with not enough seasoning. Overall the place looked very clean and nice but they could work better on the service and food.

    This was our second time in the past month dining at Elvira, and it has become our absolutely favorite place to visit! Not only is the food amazing, but the service and ambience is top notch. The servers and staff are very personable and polite! I fell ill from a stomach bug before our dinner so they rushed our order, and packaged everything to go for us , and ensured that it wasn’t a problem, and that they hope I would feel better soon! (want to clarify that i did NOT get sick from their food at all, it was a previous meal i ate during the morning) We plan on coming back in this weekend for their brunch as a re-do of our date night, but shout out to Elvira for being my favorite place to go whether it’s just for drinks or for a meal!

    So amazing! They make you feel so special and are very attentive. Almost like you’re dining at your grandmas house. I loved it so much! I will definitely be coming back🤍

    Party of 3 at 5:30. It was pretty mellow when we got there, but picked up around 6:30. Food was great. Service was great! Decorations and interior design were great! There’s a small parking lot on the side with free parking…also great! Did I mention it was great?

    We had a wonderful evening at Elvira’s. Our food was delicious and the service was outstanding! Great ambience! Not overly loud but enough energy to keep our 8 month old grandson entertained!
