Ellina is a cozy, intimate restaurant located in the heart of Aspen.
Nestled in a stone walled dining room for the perfect, cozy Alpine dining experience. In the summer, the large outdoor patio offers al fresco dining in the shadow of Aspen Mountain.
We are known for our homemade pastas and modern Italian cuisine - Chef Diaz' roots in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico often bring a Latin spark to classic Italian dishes. Our signature Artichoke Heart Bruschetta has been on the menu 15 years and still has a passionate following - a must try on the menu!
Wine is our passion, and Ellina's worldly wine lists offers over 2500 choices, with a particular love and focus on the wines of Italy and France.

We sat in the outside median of the walking area under the trees and it was such a wonderful experience. Our server told us she was required to take our entire order at the beginning of the evening. We usually pace our dinners out because the servers say they'll wait to time our courses, however most of the time they come out way too soon. We ordered everything at once and the courses were brought to us with perfect timing! We enjoyed truly everything we ordered and will definitely return. The drinks were made perfectly and the wine was a served at the perfect temperature! Please don't hesitate to dine at Elina's it is absolutely amazing!!!

Great bottle wine list, pastas and starters. One confusing thing is the addition of tacos to the menu. Outside seating is great for people watching.

Don't be confused! Our chef is from Mexico - during Covid we added tacos as an option for take out. They were such a wild success we decided to keep them as an affordable addition to our bar menu. Locals and visitors alike love them so much we can't take them off. You should try them next time, we think they are actually the best tacos in Aspen :)

Wow, you guys really cleaned your plates for people that hated it so much. I talked to my entire team and we are all quite confused as you were nice and seemed satisfied here, and did again eat all of everything that you ordered. You are right about one thing, there are lots of restaurants in Aspen, so its probably best if we go our separate ways. Most people love us (as evidenced by our 4.8 rating), so we'll just keep doing what we do.
