Ellina is a cozy, intimate restaurant located in the heart of Aspen.
Nestled in a stone walled dining room for the perfect, cozy Alpine dining experience. In the summer, the large outdoor patio offers al fresco dining in the shadow of Aspen Mountain.
We are known for our homemade pastas and modern Italian cuisine - Chef Diaz' roots in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico often bring a Latin spark to classic Italian dishes. Our signature Artichoke Heart Bruschetta has been on the menu 15 years and still has a passionate following - a must try on the menu!
Wine is our passion, and Ellina's worldly wine lists offers over 2500 choices, with a particular love and focus on the wines of Italy and France.

    Beautiful delicious food. Great wine and cocktail list. Very good service. We like eating outside but last night it was raining so we had to eat inside. I was dreading how noisy it has been in the past. Well Jody has done an incredible job with new acoustics and lighting. We were so comfortable and it was not noisy at all. Ellina is one of our favorite Aspen resturants.

    Food was very good. However, it is too noisy to permit conversation at the table for just a party of 2, even though all the tables were not filled. Service model seems to be chaoic.No one seemed responsible for our table, so service was ereratic and very uneven, uncalled for at this price point.

    We just spent $250K remodeling our entire ceiling with sound proofing. All of our regular guests have said the sound difference is incredible. Not sure why you still felt it was so loud but given our space (which we have been in for 15 years) we have done the absolute best we can to make the room enjoyable. I would like to know what about your service was so "chaotic"? I own the restaurant and am there every single night overseeing service, and we pride ourselves on top notch service. Take a look at every other review and our overall rating. We don't take a review like this lightly, and you absolutely had a server responsible for your table so please tell me, what was the issue?

    An Aspen Institution with heart. Ellina offers amazing and inventive Italian entrees with the freshest ingredients while showcasing its mastery of the classics. Modern Italian cooking with flair. A great start to this experience is always the artichoke and calamari appetizers. Short rib connoisseurs book your reservation now.... your search is over for perfection. Mic Drop and thank you, Chef. The chicken milanese, black pepper pasta, pasta bolognese are incredible. The wine list is meticulously curated. Ellina provides unique after-dinner offerings. The gelato is always refreshing. In an era when great service can be non-existence, Ellina's servers shine with local hospitality and professionalism. Thanks to Jill for offering this incredible culinary experience to locals, half-Aspenites and vistors. We look forward to our next visit.
