We enjoyed brunch in the courtyard. Peaceful and delicious food with excellent service!
Excellent service. Creative dishes very beautiful and cooked to perfection.
Great location and space but food was just ok. Not worth the price. Looks fancy, taste is ok.
Eli's was a great choice for restaurant week. All three courses were terrific, and the low key (but wonderful) music added to the ambiance without being intrusive. Would go again in a heartbeat.
We recently celebrated my husband's birthday at Eli's Table and what a little gem this restaurant turned out to be! The service and the food were wonderful and we really enjoyed the live music--it was a lovely dinner out all around. We will definitely be returning to Eli's!
Great food! Server was amazing!
We had such a wonder fil time . The food was incredible! Our waiter, Jordan, above and beyond and then back again. He was precious. We had s birthday group of girls.
This the second time that I have been to Eli table and it was for dinner. Filet was over cooked and dry and mashed potatoes tasted like they were days old. Brunch was much better.
Dinner was delicious, service was excellent, and the live music was fantastic!!
We loved Eli's Table. One of the best meals we had in Charleston (which is saying a lot). My husband and I both raved about our meal for days. Thanks for a great experience!
I was impressed with entire experience. From our food to our waiter to the easy/listening entertainment. Outstanding.
Great food and service!
Service was good but the chicken and waffles was not up to par. Both my husband and I ordered them and both of us could not even eat them.
We had an 11:15 reservation on New Year’s Day. I had standard breakfast: grits and biscuit were both excellent. The sausage and eggs were good but not that special. My wife had the BLT and made a special request for an egg to be added. The waiter said no problem and the outcome was perfect. Finally, the sweet potato and cinnamon pancakes were incredible. Oh , the bacon infused Bloody Mary was a good choice!
Service was perfect- from the waiter to the manger stopping by to inquire about our satisfaction.
Both of our meals were cold. My poached eggs were hard cooked in the middle. Waffles cold. Wouldn't recommend. They comped the meal as they should have but doubt we will go back.
Lovely centrally located place. Great regional specialties at a very reasonable price. Covered outdoor pati is very pleasant. Really nice atmosphere and very attentive service.
Came here for brunch, while visiting Charleston over NYE. Had a few Bloody Mary's, which were very good, one of the best ones we tried in Charleston. Food was delicious as well. The staff was attentive, but we also did not feel rushed. We will come back!
The server Lucas was amazing and with a reservation we were seated early which was great - and we mentioned we were on our honeymoon and they treated us extra special! Such a great evening
Greeted promptly and we ordered right away. Took 40 min to get order. We ordered the daily special and an entree that they “specialize” in.
Food was excellent
Excellent service and fried green tomatoes. Salmon also excellent.
As relatively “new” residents in Charleston (3+ year’s), my wife and I ventured out to this venue to expand our “go to” list of favorites. Although the meal we selected was very tasty and unique, the service we experienced was far from what had been anticipated. We waited longer than usual for an extra salad and dinner plate, and then even longer for a wine refill. By the time our wine did arrive, our meal was finished. I notified the food “checker” of our unfortunate first time experience, and despite apologizing on our waiter, Terry’s, behalf, no real effort was made to ensure our return nor was any further communication initiated as we departed past both of these employees. The person who I suspected as bring the attending manager was gracious in relocating our seat from the kitchen area; however, that is when the “good” service ceased.
Less than average food, don’t waste your time or money here . Service was slow and unresponsive. Asked for crackers or bread to accompany our soup . Told they don’t have either until dinner . Salmon was extremely salty ,famous grilled cheese consisted of barely grilled white bead with a couple slices of cheese and a small tomato slice . Very disappointed especially when fabulous food options are literally on every corner . Move on !
The food was bland at best. The hanger steak was def not a hanger steak. Expected to be impressed and was disappointed.
We called ahead to say that our plane was delayed and arrived at the restaurant almost an hour late. The restaurant was very busy but the staff could not have been more accommodating. Our excellent server was Carey but each employee was wonderful. We enjoyed the food - fried green tomato napoleon stands out! We loved every minute of our visit.
We dined at Eli's on Christmas Day (having made our reservation many weeks in advance). I did make a request NOT to sit outside on the patio but that is where we were seated... the temperature was fine, but the table was not the most comfortable. Everything we ordered was very beautifully presented, well-prepared and quite good. Unfortunately, service was slow. We understood eating out on Christmas was a risk and we were not upset, but there was a special event going on next door that seemed to have taken priority with the waitstaff. We would definitely return to try them on another occasion. Highly recommended: the beet salad, mussels and the shrimp & grits. Carpaccio was beautiful and tasty but too small of a portion for the price point. The catch of the day was red snapper, and this was also delicious.
Luis is an outstanding addition to the establishment.
Food and service very good. Sat in a very brightly lit gallery that was awkwardly quiet and didn’t feel cozy or inviting.
Thanks for staying open on Christmas:) Sweet and pretty bistro atmosphere.
Christmas was a busy day. However, we made reservations long before that day. Server was slow and clueless. Beef was very fatty and potatoes were like glue. Broccolini was raw and unseasoned. Not great at all.
We enjoyed our Christmas dinner at Eli’s. Everything was great and our server was very knowledgeable and friendly.
We recommend the prime rib and shrimp & grits.
Wines were way overpriced. $46 for J Lohr Cab, a 400% markup. Rib Eye was OK, Crab Cakes were cold and sent back. Service was good. Nick back courtyard.
We were disappointed in our Christmas dinner. The soup was not hot so we sent it back. The same cups of soup were retuned to us, not even a fresh cup. I guess you must ask for bread. We did not get any but the table next to us who had a different server did. My husband's fish was very good but I ordered prime rib which was so undercooked. I did not return it because I did not want to complain again. When the server cleared the table, I had more than half my prime rib on the plate. He asked if I wanted it to go. When I said no, he didn't ask if there was something wrong. We ordered dessert, a coffee drink and a tea. When asked if they had tea, our server said yes how would you like it? My coffee drink was not hot and my husband never received his tea. Again we did not want to complain.
Food was fair waiter was good but took forever to get our food
Lovely place for Christmas dinner. We even saw Santa!
The mussels were good, burger was over done and the service was extremely slow.
My husband and I had the filet. Ah........Mazing! Thank you!!!!!
Generally always have a great time while dining at Eli's. Made reservations 2 months ago, thinking we might get a better table for christmas eve instead of closest to bathroom. Bread didn't make it to table until dinners were served. Maybe you were short staffed but service was extremely slow. When first arrived hostess acted like she couldn't find reservation. Like I said, we come a lot for special occasions and also when family and friends are in town. Elis is one of the few places in charleston where you can dine and have a conversation without yelling across the table. Will be back but this time was very disappointed.
As always, Eli's table is dependable and enjoyable - Good food for the price -- not a cutting edge
foodie place, but perfect for those of us looking for very good and reliable with a pleasant ambiance.
We really enjoyed Eli’s Table. Nice atmosphere and great food. Very polite staff.
I’ve been here many times. Duck was delicious prepared perfectly. Shrimp and grits is one if the best in CHS Service is attentive but not too much.
