Dined at Elia many times. Reserved table on open table and attempted to use a voucher issued by open table using its “points” to pay. Elia did not honor the voucher. The explanation was just word salad. Bottom line, Elia didn’t want you hassle with negotiating the voucher. Cheap. Disrespectful. I’m not returning to Elia.

Food was excellent and always consistent. Staff very attentive and professional. Top 5 for sure and maybe higher in Walnut Creek.

Chose this place to celebrate my birthday. It was not a good experience if you are looking for elegance or just a nice dining experience. It was so loud you couldn’t talk to the person sitting next to you. They had a dj whose music was way too loud for the size of the restaurant. I asked our server if she could turn it down just a little and replied “NO it’s not possible don’t you follow our instagram you should know we play music on weekends”. There were girls standing on the seats dancing and jumping up and down like a club. I was drinking my glass of wine as we finished dinner and the server came up to me and told me I had one minute to finish as if I was at a club that was closing. She stood there to watch me chug my $25 glass of wine with no explanation as to why. They still had almost every table occupied and the DJ was still playing. I was appauled. Very tacky. Not classy place at all (at least on weekends).

Wedding Anniversary Dinner Celebration • Surprised us with our names on the menu - wishing us Happy Anniversary • Service from start to finish - staff very attentive, and checked on us and guided us with best recommendations through the evening • Food - Everything we tasted was cooked to perfection - we had Lobster Paella & Filet Minon + Rockerfella Prawns all prepared and presentation on point. Also had starter Pita bread with their diff dips tasty • Cocktails - fun and flavorful • Ambience - decor and full bar everything from detail very cute Overall perfect experience and date night. Will be back again and recommend.

Food was creative, loved the Mediterranean ambiance and the staff was very accommodating. M y husband noted it as one of the more unique high-end restaurants in Walnut Creek. We had a wonderful time.

Lovely place. We chose to eat on the patio, which was very nice and at that time uncrowded. Service was quite courteous. I found the moussaka tasty but somewhat overbaked giving it a drier texture than I would have preferred. My siblings had the halibut and the sea bass; the halibut was also overbaked but tasty. The calamari appetizer was very light and not leathery and the dolmas were excellent.

I was greatly impressed with this establishment! I was in a group of three during dinner service on a Saturday evening. It was very busy but the DJ and the service was really good. It was packed so the wait was a little long but I did not mind since the atmosphere was very energetic. The food was mind blowing! My favorite was the paella. Highly recommend this restaurant for a fun girls night.
