   This is the worst restaurant which I have ever been to. On arrival we were barely acknowledged, ignored and left waiting. This was for Mother's Day - my mum has a walking stick and was left standing for over ten minutes. This is a buffet style restaurant - the food was lukewarm and tasteless. A bottle of wine was ordered and it still has not arrived, yet it's price miraculously appear on the bill. For what it is worth, this restaurant was lovely, say ten years ago. It is like a meat market now, with waitresses hovering around your table when they deem it is time for you to leave. They are incredibly rude and I thought the only decent staff member there was the male server who was actually quite helpful. Avoid at all costs! Awful!

   I have been a customer of elephant royale for a long time now and last Saturday was very disappointing. The service was bad and the entertainment was the same. The waitress threw the drinks menu at us because we could not decide what to order and turned her back to us. It was a pre Mother's Day celebration but it ended up to be very unsatisfactory. The food now is not as tasty as our previous visits. To me it has lost its quality and luster.

   We used to go there quite often, but haven't been for quite some time till last Sunday. Quality of food is going downhill, small plates replaced used to be big ones, taste is nowhere near it used to be. One of the reason for going there a lot before was that the service was second to none, they always made you feel welcome. But this time people were cold, and had to wait for ages to be served eventhough there were only a handful of people in the restaurant at the time. All in all, it was a disappointing experience, would not recommend and will not go back again.

   Most dishes were cold or soggy. Docklands a la carte was much better

   Went on valentines day weekend, it was nicely decorated with a live singer on the piano, lovely to set the atmosphere and scene.Love little things like having candles on the table really does make the restaurant stand out! I did enjoy the food overall, i was just expecting to receive a bit more for what i paid for.. After the main the waitress handed us the bill so i assumed there was no dessert which was disappointing as we always have deserts when we eat out. It was very busy and the service was slow.

   Met immediately at door and shown to table. decor lovely and girl at piano playing contemporary songs. Food selection good and cannot fault anything. Would definitely recommend

    7 of us went there on a Saturday night and had a great time. Food was nice and portions are massive!
