The food was absolutely amazing!!! The staff were all very accommodating and pleasant. We tried a few dishes and everything we tried was wonderful! This is a must try and I will certainly be going back. We drove an hour and a half to try it and it was worth every mile! Making a new reservation right now!
Sunday brunch is a welcome addition to the offerings at Element Gastropub. I got the “pork” belly and succotash grits and a pineapple mimosa, and left with a full and happy belly (plus a carry-out of their biscuits and Impossible sausage gravy to try for breakfast today 😋).
This is wonderful vegan option in Raleigh. They work hard, providing wonderful "pub" food (it's better than that!), that is always fresh and delightfully tasty, friendly, attentive service, and a nice atmosphere both inside and out. Whether you're vegan or not, give it a try. My money is on you liking it!
Three of us ate there, and we all thought the three different sandwiches we had were excellent - the pork belly, crispy chick'n and BBQ. The BBQ nachos were very good, and the house tots were the best ever. Unfortunately, the cole slaw is a miss - very bland.
We ate outside. It's a great location and friendly service. We had the pork belly sandwich and carolina barbecue sandwich. Both were great. The tots and pineapple upside down cake were terrific.
BEST PLACE TO EAT DURING HOPSCOTCH! Food is fine and you can see the City Plaza stage very clearly.
Absolutely delicious vegan food with excellent, fast service. Loved the cocktails and appetizers the most. Will definitely be returning!!!
This was my first time there. I went because of the great online reviews. I wish I could say I loved it too but the whole experience was truly lacking. Their food is okay at best. Mediocre is more appropriate, and I’m not the type to give bad reviews unless truly warranted.
The plant-based food scene in the Triangle is nothing like it was 15 years ago. We really have great choices these days. Being vegan has never been “easier”!
I love flavorful food but it seems their definition of flavor is plain heat. It was present in everything I tried. The ceviche was a huge disappointment, and I love mushrooms. No real flavor other than excessive jalapeño (or whatever) heat.
Their menu needs to have the picture of a chili next to that dish and others, then their current items listed as spicy should have two instead of one.
Now, the breaded chicken may be the exception but it was quite bland (mild yes but only the breading had any flavor).
The fries were a little spicy but not bad. Their queso was okay.
Their cocktails didn’t impress me either… too much ice, too little flavor. Watered-down is the term I’d use.
Overall, I’d say they offer nothing spectacular for the prices they’re charging.
The servers and the atmosphere? I’d say typical Raleigh Downtown attitude. Lastly, the patio is not as inviting as they make it out to be, and the furniture is somewhat uncomfortable.
Fantastic experience all around !!! Can't wait to go back
food was very tasty and creatively using vegan products. The smash burger tasted pretty much like a beef burger but no fat type linger afterwards. The tots were fantastic. Great service from Lowell. Pricey for lunch at almost $20 per person with only one beer for one of us.
The service is poor. The logistics of the table seating and serving clients were not efficient or consistent. The food was good and that’s about the only good thing about this restaurant.
Very good vegan restaurant but the service was quite slow but maybe it was pandemic related. Will try again!
Absolutely love this place. Great drink selections and the fact they use zero meat yet portray normal entrees that taste so similar will always be a mystery to me. Would highly recommend to anyone, even meat eaters like me.
12/10 for everything! Portions were great, drinks amazing! Wide selection of dishes & sauces! Cashew queso was notably great & the oat milk soft serve is a must 🤤 will definitely be back soon!
The host was not wearing a mask despite the city-wide mandate :( Also, I reserved an outdoor table but when we got there the host started to show us to an indoor table - when I told him I had reserved outdoors he kind of just stared at me, said “I mean….” And gestured at all the full patio tables. Really weird. The food was yummy if a bit pricey. Mostly imitation meat. Our waitress was great (and masked!) though.
So sorry for this SPNC, our staff definitely follows mandates, I'm not sure why he wasn't wearing a mask but this will be addressed. Thank you so much for checking us out and I hope to see you back soon.
Love it definitely will be back!! I have no complaints everything was beyond what I expected 💕
Our totcho appetizer was wonderful but our entrees left a bit to be desired, specifically our side choice. On the menu it is referred to as a cucumber salad (which I assumed was fresh and vibrant) but in reality they’re pickles. So I had a bahn mi the with kimchi and a side of pickles. It was just too much. Beer selection was nice.
Great vegan options, lots of beer on tap, attentive service. We enjoy going here for Friday evenings.
Vegetarian food can stand on its own merits - everything on the menu need not be a false meat dish. The vegan dishes at Element are highly processed and contain an excess of meat flavoring and imitativeness.
Our dishes are actually not heavily processed, seitan is a very common product (especially in Asian culture), that we have learned to mimic chicken texture and is usually only 3 or 4 ingredients. We are not a salad / wrap spot.. we're a pub. We serve pub style food but vegan. Sorry this wasn't to your liking.
The vegan nachos and the fried "chicken" sandwich were excellent. Staff was very attentive despite being busy inside and outside.
I've had quite a few menu items and every single one of them has been absolutely delicious.
Food and staff were excellent. A perfect alternative to those that want to try vegan.
Good selection of food and drinks plus a solid kids menu. There were a few families there.
Keep in mind these are more fried varieties but some nice alternatives if you don't want meat!
Had the Pork Belly Sandwich. By far the best sandwiche I've ever eaten. As always, the fries were delicious.
The Element is a great experience, even down to the detail your experience will be unforgettable. Our server allowed us to hangout to enjoy the evening, we weren't rushed, we enjoyed our food and even brought some home.
Excellent. Best French Fries ever. Salad great. Nachos outstanding.
If you’d didn’t tell me this was vegan, I’d have no clue. BBQ nachos were bomb and so was the smash burger and hot chicken sandwich. Definitely coming back for more
Food and service was great. It was a little hot. I’m unsure if the a/c wasn’t working well, or if it was because we were sitting right by an outside door being used by wait staff. Overall, it was a great experience, and we will be back, and recommend to others.
Delicious veggie food in a vibrant and fun atmosphere! Fully enjoyed by both me (vegetarian) and my omnivore husband!
Finally a nice place vegans can eat without substitutions because we can eat EVERYTHING on the menu! I love this place!! Great location too!
Absolutely loved it! Just wish they had some healthier options. Vegan does not equal healthy and it would be nice to have some sandwiches that aren’t fried or smothered in sauce.
Regardless, EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!!!!! And our server was hustling and we really appreciated him.
Excellent food and service.
Our reservation was for an outdoor table but none were available when we arrived. We were immediately seated inside near an open door so we made the best of it. Although the wait after we ordered was long, the food and service were exception and we’ll definitely be back.
The food is fantastic, reservations on the weekend are encouraged. I've had almost everything on the menu and recommend it all. Even the dessert options were delicious. Furthermore, the bartenders are great at making mocktails for the non-drinkers who desire a little more than soda or lemonade.
Great Dinner with the family!! Awesome service and food was excellent!!
Element is quite possibly the best vegan restaurant in Raleigh!
great food! I would definitely return. the food was really good.
BBQ sandwich, fries and tater tots were all really good!!! Servers were all very friendly and helpful.
Good was great and we had leftovers to bring home with us
Delicious vegan food and great service. Recommend the bbq nachos and Buffalo wings
