   Food was pretty good. Our server went missing and never came back to check on us, after we ordered our meals. I had to get up and go find someone (after 30 mins) to get our bill and some boxes to take our food. The restaurant was not crowded but was very disappointed with our server.

   Took my mom out to lunch and brought our dogs. Sat outside, nice shady spot. Server was excellent. Friendly and attentive. We are both plant based and enjoyed the broccoli app as well as the (tuna) bel puri and the not Greek salad. All delicious.

   This is the second time we'd been to Ela. The food and service is always excellent. It was a quieter night bc it was Easter. Usually it's a bit more loud & lively but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

   Everything was delicious! We appreciated the recommendations and most of all, the thoughtful glasses of sparkling wine to celebrate our anniversary. Customer service was superb! Looking forward to returning.

    There are two bars, one indoor, one outdoor, so don't take my word on the low noise level - we were there at 2 PM for a late lunch, and I suspect that by evening both areas would be far more lively. I gave the food five stars because the presentation is nice, and I think any American guest will appreciate and love the food. For me, it was not actually Indian food, it was Indian-ish. A thali usually comes in only two variants, veg or non-veg, and then it has equally sized samples of multiple dishes. Here, you choose one main dish and get a side of dal and raita plus rice. The heat level of the food is very low. Thai or Indian restaurants often ask you what spice level you want, here you are not asked. So if you are here for some heat, ask for it. I didn't take off a star for that because in my experience going out with friends, the moderate spice level and toned down Indian style is an asset not a liability. Very friendly atmosphere, nice outdoor space and a generally good vibe.
