Menudo was lukewarm and there were no spoons. no spoons for flan. Waitress was nice.

We had reservations for the Mother's Day lunch. However, the restaurant was ill-prepared, and we waited over an hour with our reservation. When we were finally seated for the buffet, we found the food to be moderately warm, if it was available. The food selection was minimal and not being replenished. Service was lacking, and the champagne and mimosa were not available for forty minutes after we were seated. Sadly, our ratings reflect the limited food options, poor service, and inadequate managerial preparation for the Mother's Day lunch.

We had made reservations for 1215. We had to wait over an hour and a half everybody else that was waiting was waiting for hours even though they had reservations when we walked around we saw multiple open tables that they weren’t having people sit at. When I asked, can we sit at one of these open tables? They said oh we’re gonna be having people sit there. I came back 20 minutes later. They were still open. never had such a bad experience at El Torito or any brunch I’ve ever been to .

Absolutely terrible! They allowed too many walk in and we had a reservation at 10:45 am and did not get a table until 12:15pm. Food was mostly cold and the worst dessert and coffee I’ve ever had. Whoever managed the restaurant on Mother’s Day needs extensive training. I will not ever book here on a special event again.

Overall good all around considering we should up with 11 persons total. Good service from Ruben who took great care of the family. Table was a bit tight and e could have used more room. But it wals all good.

I've been here many times for brunch in the past and have nothing but terrible things to say about today's experience. I arrived at 11:45 about a half an hour before my reservation. I checked in and was told I would have to wait about additional 30 minutes from my reservation time, which I thought was absolutely ridiculous. Don't overbooked or take walk ins then screw over your people with reservations. I didn't get seated till almost 1 pm, walked out, and left to another restaurant who sat us no reservation within 15 minutes.
