At El Silencio we specialise in Tacos & Margaritas with a dive-bar ambience. The music is loud and the drinks are strong ¡Andale!

Our tacos use gf corn tortillas from Balam - a Mexican food business set up by Eduardo and his team in Dublin. We have an excellent array of plant-based options too including the Vegan Prison Tray.

Our margaritas (11 different combinations and counting) use only the best 100% agave tequila and mezcal.

We don't mess around with wine/whiskey/vodka/dessert/coffee - just margaritas & tacos cabrones!

Great food, we got 3 different types of tacos and nachos and it was so filling as they put quite a lot of meat on each dish. Margaritas were really nice and the service was quick.

The food was not good at all. The tacos themselves were very soggy and wet. They were overfilled and the filling itself was not good. The chicken one had a huge chunk of very dry chicken with a piece of bone in and the rest was shredded. Would not recommend. Definitely would not go back

The margaritas were excellent but one of the dishes came over salted; like they accidentally poorer a bucket of salt on one of the tacos. However they removed the item from the bill after we notified them which we greatly appreciated. The service was not great, I kept looking for the waitstaff and having to call them over maybe 5-6 times instead of them checking in with us. The other tacos were hit or miss.

The food is so good! Service was so quick. Drinks were delicious. Staff were really nice, friendly and accommodating. I really recommend visiting :)

Exceptional food - the El Verde tacos were a real hit! Excellent portion sizes and everything was delicious if messy to eat. Great service, really cool décor, gorgeous margaritas and vibrant atmosphere. We're already looking forward to coming back.
