My now favourite restaurant in Canberra after my third visit. My husband and I chose the all you can eat option. There was nothing that left us wanting. My favourites were the pasta dishes, fried chicken, beef fillet and of course the banofee pie.

86 has previously always delivered amazing food and a fantastic experience. However, we ordered the tasting menu and felt it was not good value for money. We left still hungry as the food we were served was suited for one person not two. It was definitely not worth $75 each. The highlight was the dessert, as we received individual servings. We will only go back for the dessert menu, not for a main meal.

AmaZing food and service! The lighting needs to be improved though. I understand the dim lights but in some areas they are too dim to even read the menu.

Food was faultless but portion sizes were a little small and prices were a little on the steep side. Also the service could’ve been a little more attentive.

Best food we had in Canberra, hands down - had the tasting menu - accommodating with dietary requirements, great drinks list. Amazing desserts!

Wonderful friendly staff, over and above general service. Food was served in timely manner and was delicious. We went for weekend brunch and were not disappointed with the menu. My husband asked for something usually on evening menu and the waiter wrote it down, much to his delight it arrived. We will definitely be back next time we are in Canberra.

Had an amazing brunch at eightysix. The food was phenomenal and one of the best hollandise sauce on the Eggs Benedict :). I would definitely recommend trying the brunch.
