About this restaurant

  • Great for scenic views
  • Good for special occasions
  • Innovative
With access to panoramic views of Pendle Hill, and a range of seasonal menus, created and tailored by our Chef Patron, Doug Crampton, Eight at Gazegill is the epitome of a 'farm-to-fork' restaurant, being owned by and located directly on a working organic farm, Gazegill Organics, in the Ribble Valley.

Showcasing the best of the produce from the farm, which includes organic slow-reared pork and raw milk, and utilising the seasonal bounty that can be found in the surrounding hedgerows and countryside, Eight at Gazegill reconnects guests to nature through the food.

Our Brunch, All-Day and Sunday Lunch menus are suitable for all, while our Friday and Saturday evening Tasting Menu offers a more grown up experience. We also have specifically designed menus which are suitable to be eaten on our outside terrace area where the addition of a large purpose-built playground makes this the perfect location for families to enjoy the sunshine.

I would have liked some options around sandwiches and/or soup options on the lunch menu. However the meat board was lovely and good value for money. I didn’t order a dessert from the menu as this was somewhat limited. Great and friendly service in a beautiful countryside setting.

From the moment we stepped in the wonderful attentive staff made our visit a delightful afternoon. We visited for Sunday lunch with friends. Every course was a taste sensation exceptional and would thoroughly recommend Eight at Gazegill. Excellent facilities for anyone with a disability as one of the party is in a wheelchair. Great venue a big thank you

Amazing experience from start to finish. First time we’ve been here and it’s our new favourite place. Couldn’t fault one thing and very welcoming for our children which was an extra bonus.

We attended the Spring Foragers feast by Doug Crampton and Craig Worrall at Eight at Gazegill which is located on the farm itself. This may be a small issue for those who do not drive as access from public transport might leave you a little too far to walk for the remaider of the route. The evening was wonderful. The 5 course menu offered amazing food grown on the farm or locally sourced. Added to that was wild foraged food perfectly prepared by these amazing chefs. Always followed by scrumptuois desserts, again using locally and wild foraged ingredients. If you like a tipple, the wine lists were plentiful with carefully selected products to compliment your fine dining experience. Returning to this restaurant is inevitable! The whole team are a really nice bunch and are very welcoming from the moment you arrive at Eight at Gazegill.

Another 5 star experience on a Saturday afternoon, shared charcuterie meat with exquisite sourdough, beef short rib, pea and celeriac risotto was delicious, fish of the day Cornish place melted in your mouth , date pudding with raw milk ice cream then espresso. Sauvignon blanc then Pinot noir to help it all go down 👌👌see you 🔜
