Overall I had a great experience with my guests. The service was great. I ordered the crab cake Benedict for breakfast. It was delicious !

We went for breakfast. Utensils were not clean. Waitress was not attentive, we had to ask her 3 times for a cup of coffee for my friend. She seemed a bit lost, overwhelmed maybe ? And it was not busy. We thought it was unfortunate that we had to pay for coffee as it is often free in breakfast restaurants. My food was great but my friend didn't like her omelet at all, it was tasteless. I would still give the restaurant another chance, maybe it was just a bad morning.

Waiter was very helpful and refilled our coffees often. Food came out promptly and was warm and tasty. Would definitely go back again.

Busy location! The restaurant is in an older building in a very busy part of town. The room is very large and offers little soundproofing. The food was great as was our service!

Paid close to $30 plus tax for an "eggstraordinaire" and a coffee. Food was mediocre, especially the waffle that came with the "eggstraordinaire", it used so few batter. Could get the same food for almost half the price at a few other places. Thus, value-wise, it is a rip-off. Have liked this Eggspectation for more than a decade and even organized a few rendezvous with friends and colleagues there, but it has really become very poor for value in recent years.

We went on Mother’s Day. It was very busy of course and the poor server was so overwhelmed. Took a long time to even get a glass of water, some plates were cold as they were forgotten about. I know the server was just trying to do their best in a hectic situation, but for the money I don’t think the food was that worth it. If they could have, they should’ve staffed up.

The food was great, and the waiter was knowledgeable about the menu regarding my dietary needs. Service was slow and I would have appreciated the waiter coming to check on us more often, but it was Mother’s Day, so it’s understandable.
