Good food and service in a clean, quaint restaurant with a nice low-key vibe. Great for meeting with friends or co-workers.
Very disappointed in the service here. Our waitress was unaware of items they were out of so had to come back separate times to let us know that what we had ordered was not available which is very unprofessoinal - Let your staff know what's not available BEFORE they wait on a table! Waitress was unaware of some of the seasonal offerings as well. Only thing that saved the entire meal was the food - it was delicious. Bottom line - train your wait staff.
We loved this place! Food was original and terrific.
Stopped for drinks and appetizers. Wow!! What a cool place! Great atmosphere and the cocktails were superb. My friend recommends the Manhattan as she said it was one of the best she ever had. Be sure and also try the Edison and their version of an old fashioned!! Will definitely come back perhaps for brunch!
My son chose Edison & Patton for birthday brunch to celebrate his 19th birthday. The service was great. The food was an interesting mix. The ambience was funnier than what online photos indicate. And, there was construction and cleanup with their outdoor patio going on throughout our meal.
Guessing it’s a better bar & bites stop than brunch.
Stay away stay away! Not sure how this place stays open.
- we made reservations for a table inside. They put us outside with three small children. The manager promised to move us in as soon as a table opens. When a table opened inside he said that he had to offer it to another party without reservations.
- manager was rude and obnoxious
- waited 2 hours for the food and it came out with a 5 min gap between plates.
- paid $4 for 2 slices of bacon
- do not ask to make any changes to the menu as they rudely tell you no changes per the chef
One of the worst experiences I had in many many years. Actually can’t think of a worse mean at a restaurant.
The food was amazing but service was extremely slow...drinks slow...food slow luckily we werent in a rush and the food was amazing. Maybe some the staff skipped town for the holiday?
Good food, many options, great bar.
Hi, just wanted to mention I made this reservation on OpenTable, but when members of my party arrived they were told that they didn’t take reservations and we couldn’t sit inside because a private event was happening. If I had known this I would have gone elsewhere. We had to sit outside where it was a bit cold and windy (normally not an issue, but two members of my party are in their 80s). In addition, the service was slow and the speaker was very loud. My family members enjoyed the Brussels sprouts, but this was not the experience I was expecting.
Loved the service, food, and ambiance. Definitely recommend
Limited menu, service was adequate, had to reach out to get waiters attention several times.
Just lovely! We’ll be back!
Please see below. My husband wrote an email to management on Feb. 28th, the day after we dined at Edison regarding our experience. Have not received an email back. Not looking for a hand out, but acknowledgement of how terrible the service was. So unfortunate to have experienced this on a special occasion.
I want to preface this message with how every time I have come here, it has been an amazing experience, this time however was not even close.
Last night my parents took me out to dinner for my birthday. I chose Edison & Patton as it had been a while since I had been and the new menu looked great. Every time I had come in, I had thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service, so was expecting a great evening.
To start, the AC was either off or not working which left the inside extremely muggy. They had fans on, but that just seemed more a nucance than anything. We immediately ordered cocktails which took quite a while to come out. Then on to appetizers. We ordered one of the flatbreads and Brussels. After 15 min we were told they could not make pizzas today. Ok, not a big deal, we changed the order for fries. All the while still waiting on drinks, they finally arrive. 30 min into awaiting our appetizers, they come out. Great, we are all starving. Only issue is, they are completely cold. We say something and there is no reaction from the staff. No let me get them heated or offering to replace. We let it slide but reiterated that we do not want cold entree’s. After an hour of waiting for our meal, the two short ribs ordered were cold. Two of our burgers, ordered medium, came out way over done. And again throughout the evening, extremely slow timeline for drinks. 5 min is understandable, but 15-20 is ridiculous. Had to ask multiple times for water refills and that took forever as well.
Great waiter and drinks! Fun, quiet dinner.
This restaurant must have been put together with VERY little planning. No food on the menu was available except the salads, and my salad was supposed to have kale- nope, there was none. The waiter (very kind for trying) brought the wrong drinks, forgot some food and was highly overwhelmed because he covered half of the tables.... too many.
Food was late and cold. Hard to get a drink while we waited from our server. Place looked great!
Food was outstanding, service was terrible! I would not return or recommend.
Food was great but service was not heeat
