Your choice of local fresh catch or killer grilled shrimp / cabbage / radish / cotija cheese / guacamole / lime crema / corn tortillas / local 'Hot Licks' hot sauce / chips
sea scallops, chanterelle mushroom risotto / citrus beurre blanc / seasonal local vegetables
seared blue crab / roasted corn pico / jalapeno remoulade / bed of greens
Our waitress Shelby was awesome. We were there for sunset but were seated around the corner so didn’t have a good view. That would have been ok if the food was amazing which it really wasn’t, bland and nothing special. There are much better options out there for the price.
Overall great area and beautiful backdrop but the price vs value of the food is poor. Far to overpriced for the quality of food.
Fish tacos were dry. Chips were stale. Drinks were nice and stiff. The poor waitress was working her tail off - completely understaffed. I ordered the blackened fish and my husband ordered regular. They brought us both regular. Great views of the water. Fun to people watch.
Wanted to try this place for years because of the location. Everything was wonderful! Beautiful view, great service, yummy food. Decent prices. We will eat there again.
Food was great , got sat down fast and waiter was super nice and always checked in on our table 10/10
Best mango margarita I’ve ever had
We had the clam chowder, the mahi mahi special and the scallops. Our server was friendly and helpful and our food was delicious. We enjoyed an outside table overlooking the bay - overall, an excellent dinner and a beautiful San Diego evening.
Great views. Great customer service.
Our server, Gabe, was quite helpful and attentive, made our 50th wedding anniversary dinner special.
Girl’s weekend meet up
It was a very nice experience.
Great food and service. Outstanding bay views.
Made a reservation for 1130am and when we arrived at 1115am we were told we would not be seated till after 12pm. Not sure why, but last time I checked a reservation time means I’m seated at that time, not 30 mins later.
Once we received the call that our table was ready we were told the kitchen was 60 minutes behind so we would not be able to order food, only drinks till the kitchen started taking orders.
So we choose to be sat, we waited for almost 25 mins for a drink order to be placed. We received our food in a moderate amount of time from when we placed our food order.
The food was ok, I ordered eggs, potatoes, sausage and a slice of toast. I was not given or asked if I wanted salt or pepper, I was given no butter or jelly for my toast nor was I offered. My sausage tasted like it was sitting for days and then reheated.
Our server was really nice but she was way busy to be very attentive.
I kept getting told the manager says this or that but never once did I see a manager. You would think a good manager would be helping as much as possible.
I have been to this restaurant numerous times and this was by far the worst visit ever.
Every other time I’ve been service and food was great, so I hope that this was a accident on the restaurant part.
I probably will find other places to eat on a San Diego weekend since this restaurant can’t seem to keep up with the busy pace of customers
Nice spot with bay view. Service was great.
Great food, great service, beautiful view with great atmosphere!
The location is right on the water, and the food is good. The menu, however, is limited. The chicken sandwich and she crab soup were both delicious. The only bad part was the extremely slow service. We moved from our table looking out on the water to a seat at the bar because the bartender was so much faster to take our drink and food orders. The restaurant was not full either.
It was very nice! Loved being right next to the harbor and feeling that ocean breeze while enjoying a delicious brunch. Our server Eric was excellent. Very friendly, professional, and attentive. Overall, a very nice spot in Seaport Village.
Overall experience with our friends was great. Will be back.
Food was great had catch of the day and fish burger of the day both were excellent. Waiter was awesome. Highly recommend
Our server Gabe was amazing. He was super quick and had a great personality. The only complaint was that it was chilly and we asked to be seated outside. But that was on us not the staff or the restaurant. So overall a great experience. The Rissotto was AMAZING!
The food was great and the service was outstanding. The staff were cordial and very accommodating. The view is priceless! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes fine food and excellent service.
Small number of patrons
Soup arrived cool not hot. No plates for bread course. I guess just eat off table. Entree was ok but not hot. Sat too long before served. Disappointing
Eric was our server. He was quick, efficient and spot on with our orders. The steaks that we ordered (12 Rib eye) was a like tough. They were a flat cut for easier cooking but can get away from you quickly. Everything else was well prepared.
We have dined at the Edgewater Grill several times. It's a nice place for a meal. The food is good, but a bit pricy for what it is. The menu could have a bit more variety, but the offerings they do have are fresh and tasty. A table with a view is worth the wait if you are after Bayside dining. That's what your paying for. The service is usually good, but the last time we came in, our server was fantastic. I couldn't possibly have had another glass of iced tea!
I will definitely eat there again. It is usually easy to get a table without too much waiting, and our family loves a meal with a view of the water.
Beatiful view and good food. The service was great.
Great view but the food is sooooo basic and bland. It needs spice and love!
We went for Mother’s Day and had a wonderful time. Great service, friendly staff and the food came out quickly. Beautiful view of Coronado and good people watching on the boardwalk. Would definitely come back here for any occasion.
Jony gave my family excellent service on Mother’s Day! He was attentive and polite. He gets 5 stars!
We ordered the Crab Benedict, absolutely perfect crab combo. The French toast had incredible coconut whipped cream and a mix of berries, fresh and just the right amount of sweet. Lastly the ham and eggs were absolutely delicious. We will be back again soon!
I noted that we were having a special mother/daughter dinner for Mother’s Day and would love to sit outside. The hostess took us to two Adirondack chairs in the dirt at the edge of the patio, roped off from the sidewalk, with a tiny side table. I didn’t make reservations to have dinner in my lap. There was a full size table with two chairs literally right next to us. I asked to sit there and they told me it would be a considerable wait. I persisted- how would we possibly be able to eat an appetizer, two steak dinners, and wine in beach chairs? The server was kind and told us to sit at the lonely table. He was kind, funny, and made the rest of our stay enjoyable. Our drinks from the bar took over 30 minutes. The charcuterie board had literal chunks of cheese on it. Slices would have been nice. Our waiter noted that he’d never seen it presented that way. Our steaks were overdone, which he also agreed and wanted to send back, but he already had been so nice and it took quite a while to get the food, so I declined. The whole evening was a comedy of errors, that without the kind humor from our waiter, would have been a disaster. Instead, it was quite memorable. I would like to note that they didn’t attempt to seat anyone else in the beach chair situation the rest of our time there. We were dressed properly for dinner, so I’m not sure why the hostess thought we wanted our butts in the dirt, but it all ended up fine.
Mother’s Day brunch a day early was super fun. Josh was our server and did an awesome job, super friendly, fun and offered to take pictures for us. Food was awesome portion sizes were great👌
Ambiance is great. Great service
Great restaurant in Seaport Village with a perfect view of the water and Coronado Bridge. The food and customer service were excellent. Our group of 6 people were seated at the patio which made our day even more special!
Steaks came out overdone and took a long time. Certain menu items unavailable.
Went for my birthday celebration. Ordered the scallops with risotto and veggies, very good! Free velvet cake was amazing. I always come to edgewater when I visit from Arizona. Til next time :)
Good food, excellent service. Prices were reasonable.
Our server was great but we did have in issue with the wine. They were out of the first two wines we ordered and we didn't receive our wine until about 45 minutes after we tried ordering them. Our meals came out before the wine did. I doubt this happens a lot but it did happen to us. Other than that, our food was great.
Food and service were very good. If you're fortunate enough to get a table on the patio, the view is fabulous.
Looking for a place with a great view AND happy hour so called a head. The lady who answered said they have a happy hour and named off their appetizer menu. Generally for happy hour appetizers are included which was misleading with communication with this place there are No appetizers on happy hour or cocktails. Just beer a couple bucks off- not really what we had in mind but the waiter was cool as well as the ambiance of the place. Not where I would go agin for happy hour, pricy and basic. Steak was plain and poke nachos had ahi that looked chewed up rather than nice cubes. Good cocktails- just not on happy hour... 180$ later....Oh well.
Amazing place for brunch, great view and amazing food
It was a good experience overall. The food was delicious but a bit pricey. The food selection was quite few, but the drinks selections were ample. The outdoor dining were not that great since it’s too close to the public walking by on the walkway. Our table was too small for a two person dining. The waiters were juggling the chairs around for the diners. Our waiter Joaquin was very attentive and had great sense of humor. The view of the waters was fantastic but did not like people seeing you as you work on your food. Some potted plants would be a nice. We’ll probably opt for the indoor dining when we come back.
