The restaurant was great, complementary parking lot was a nice feature. Liked the opportunity to walk through the greenhouse with fresh herbs, plants and edible flowers. Our waitress , Lizzy, was amazing. She did an excellent job in describing everything and making appropriate recommendations.

Noisy, we were in the front dining area, maybe the rear dining room is quieter. Next time, will try the outdoor eating area.

We had a fantastic meal here. Food, service, and ambiance all wonderful. The chef is truly creative. I’m not a vegetarian but the vegetarian summer squash entree looked intriguing so I decided to try it. So glad I did! Absolutely delicious!

The decor and ambiance of the restaurant is great. Our waiter was VERY enthusiastic...almost too much so but the service was quick and they were knowledgable. The food portions were pretty small for the price. The bread was good, the caesar salad was not that great. We also ordered the gnocchi which was just ok. We ended with the short rib which was apparently brand new to the menu...NOT good. Very dry and there were four small pieces. I don't think I'll be back here again.

Everything was perfect, as usual! Only thing to note is I wish they noted on the Open Table app that Eden closes @2 pm for transition into dinner prep.

Fantastic ambiance, food, and service. I appreciate all of the care for more vegetable-forward pairings in their dishes that come from their own garden.

My husband and I had a wonderful meal at Eden last evening. All of the dishes we ordered were beautiful and delicious. The flatbread was a true work of art that was almost too pretty to eat. The warm flatbread was layered with a Smokey eggplant spread and covered with purple asparagus, cured morel mushrooms and an assortment of fresh greens , herbs and flowers. Beautiful balance of flavors and was the perfect start to our dinner. We split the house made pork tagliatelle which - we were told has been the only dish that has been on the menu since they have been open - and we can understand why! Again perfectly balanced. On to our main courses, I had the fried chicken and my husband had the lamb loin. The chicken was expertly prepared with the perfect crunch and the lamb loin was amazing (the burnt onion sauce brilliant with the lamb).

Under the leadership and vision of head chef Devon Quinn, Eden is a restaurant not to be missed! The kitchen and front of the house staff are attentive and make you feel at home. Such a memorable evening, we will be sure to visit again soon!

Excellent food, attentive service.
Our first time here but I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Food is outstanding, all vegetables grown in their own garden.
Probably one of best restaurants in Chicago.
The GM Jonathan was exceptional.

The location was a bit remote. But the restaurant has plenty of parking space. The dining room was spacious and filled with natural light, very suitable to the restaurant's farm-to-table theme. A lot of veggies go into their dishes. And they grow those veggies in their on-site garden. Those veggies are so fresh and so sweet. You can really taste the difference. Dishes are not heavily seasoned, so the flavor and the aroma of the ingredients can be very well developed. Very smart. Desert was an elevated version of our every day liking. In stead of butter cream, smoked chocolate ganache was paired with the carrot cake. The fragrant from cardamom ice cream was wonderful. Services were great. The staff were knowledgeable about the dishes and ingredients, and were very attentive.

We loved our brunch so much, we didn't wait long enough to take a pic. Possibly the best brunch I've had in Chicago between the atmosphere, the service and the menu items, themselves. Can't wait to venture back! Added bonus- Free Parking Lot @ Eden in Chicago

This was our second outing there. We ordered several appetizers to share - the asparagus, bread, and fluke. All good tho the fluke was a small portion. Our entrees were the Burger, redfish, and fries - all tasty. And one dessert. Pretty place. Nice servers. Would return.

Nothing special about my food. Veggie quish tasted warmed up several times. Waiter was informative but over sold the food. Mimosa less than good. Tour of building nice. Talk of dinner food was suppose to be excellent but I was more interested in food offered at the time not if we come back.

Very loud, but great food. Different flavor profile than expected with Redfish, but well-prepared and filling. Wife had the burger and very tasty...huge pile of fries accompanied it. Bread well worth getting as an app

We went to dinner at Eden after a friend’s recommendation. It definitely surpassed my expectations. We could only get counterspace for the reservation but after asking, were given a table. The food was incredible. The bread was out of this world and asparagus starter was delicious! I then had a squash and dumpling entrée that was so flavorful and perfect. Everything was wonderful and so focused on the details.

I haven't had dinner at Eden for a couple of months, but even with new menu items the experience was familiar and didn't disappoint. My friend and I had a reservation for two, but ended up having a last minute guest join our party. The staff was accommodating and welcoming to the change. Our table shared the Baby Octopus and Pork Belly, Eden Burger, and Pork Tagliatelle. Each dish was amazing! I've been hesitant to try the burger because it seems like you might be missing something else on the menu, but it was a pleasant surprise. All of the dishes brought various flavors and textures to each bite, which resulted in an exciting and dynamic experience. I feel like the food activated taste buds that I didn't know I had or have been dormant for years! After the meal I felt satisfied and energized! We also had a couple cocktails and beers and lost track of time, but never felt like we were rushed to get out. No complaints and we will definitely be back.

A perfect experience! I was a solo diner, celebrating a special occasion and from the maitre’d to the waitstaff to a lovely chat with Chef Devon, everything was excellent and they made me feel welcomed and take. Care of. The vegetarian tasting menu will make even the most dedicated carnivore want to try these exquisite selections. I will back again with friends soon.

Awesome service. There was a dish we didn’t love and they deducted it from our check. We were not expecting that at all and it was so nice of them. We will be back for sure, the food was delicious. They were all very nice to our baby, and they have parking and decent space and ambience. We wish lots of success to this restaurant and truly deserves it.
This is the only 5 star restaurant around and we clearly understand why.

At first, Eden had a great atmosphere. As soon as we sat down, we ordered drinks (which were great) but after that, it all went down hill. The waiter was the most pushy salesman I have ever interacted with (worse than a used car salesman). He brought food and drinks we didn't order (and charged us for it), and joked about a deathly allergy we had at the table every time food was presented. Everything was very uncomfortable, very unprofessional and very over priced.

The food before the entres was all fine. Nothing was spectacular. For the mains, we got steak, lamb, and the burger. It was all over cooked and unimpressive.

After dinner, at coat check, the waiter then approached us to ask us to take a picture with him outside of the restaurant, which we previously declined. Very weird and creepy.

It was all very uncomfortable and a disappointing experience to say the least.
