Simply try e best!! We return here often. And we are never disappointed. Yes it’s in the higher end of price- but the quality and service are worth it. The black cod is probably my favourite. Accompanied by the crab fried rice. Followed by the best s’mores dessert I have ever had ( enough for 2)

Our server, Manny Soveranis, was personable, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was exquisite. The free champagne and the truffles were a very nice touch.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary and they made it very special! Our table has rose petals and we received complimentary glass of Champagne! The manager Kyle came to check on us and our server Marissa O was superb! Thank you for a memorable dinning!
Four of us enjoyed our meals and the service was great!
Haven’t been here in awhile, not sure why. But we introduced some friends to this magnificent place. Absolutely every dish was excellent, but stars of our show were the Crab fried rice and the Chilean Sea-bass Special. Finally the pineapple upside down cake is an absolute must! Service was impeccable too. Definitely won’t wait so long until our next visit.

The waiter that served us was a professional. Excellent manner and knowledge of the menu. Operating management was aware of some issues and made positive accommodations before I raised them. Food was exceptional. I'm fortunate to travel extensively and the food quality and variety at this restaurant was notable. All in an excellent experience for a romantic evening. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Always a great place to eat, but they had an off night. Bartenders were in the weeds - walked away from the bar after 15 minutes of waiting. I enjoy a long meal, but the dinner pace was slow. Food was good. We’ll revisit in the future.
This was one of the BEST seafood restaurants that I have ever been to. Drinks were spectacular, service was outstanding, menu just great, lively atmosphere. I WILL be back. Just FYI $$$$
My wife and I have visited Eddie V’s on special occasions over the past 10 years, and while the name has changed, it remains one of our favorite restaurants in OC. This year we celebrated our anniversary and were welcomed with a card and roses. Our waiter, Chris, was amazing. Although not on the dessert menu, he accommodated our request of a pineapple upside down cake (our usual), which was mouthwatering delicious. We highly recommend Eddie V’s. The food is outstanding, the atmosphere pleasant, the wine selection varied, and the price matched the value of the service.
Excellent appetizers, great filet, unique flavorful desserts. Only head scratcher was a non special Manhattan cocktail at $22 - I can only imagine what it would be if I specified a particular bourbon or rye
Was thinking it would be better, kind of unusual combination of sauces. Good food, great service but other places at same price I like more.
Dinner was great! I didn’t tell our server I recently used to work for Darden (shh), she did everything by the book. Everything was delivered in a timely manner, she was polite and made good conversation and made it look effortless. I could tell the restaurant was packed but our service didn’t suffer at all. Thank you to our server!

Celebrating opening our business
Our dinner for three started off with the shrimp appetizer and Cesar's salad. Entrees included fillet mignon and Chilean Sea Bass cooked to perfection. For dessert, we enjoyed the sorbet, butter cake and the panna cotta.
Steak was way over cooked took a extra hour to be seated as well. Asked for dressing on the side of my salad and it came out fully dressed. Was over all a very bad experience I will never come to this location again. I’ve been in Orlando , and Houston and absolutely incredible meals. This location is not up to standard for the name of Eddie vs. There is plenty of high end steak houses in Newport Beach that are incredible and worth every penny! Don’t waist your time. Also contacted customer service no response.
We have been coming to Wildfish for 13 years. The food was always consistently delicious. We’ve seen such a decline in this area since it became “Eddie Vs”. The Calamari was the best part of the meal. They shrunk the martini glasses, but the prices remain the same. The sole and sea bass were mediocre , I even found a bone in my sole. They removed some items from the menu that were fabulous. The service was still great, but were sad to say, we won’t be returning.
Visited for restaurant week and everything we got was perfect!! Very flavorful and portions just right. We had the branzino which had the perfect crisp to its skin and moist and tasty on the inside. We also had the filet mignon ordered medium and it was very tender and tasty. We took our deserts to go because we were full after we had our entrees. We also had the lobster bisque soup, the crab fried rice and the shrimp and scallions appetizer. Also all very good! Our server was Cody who checked on us regularly. He was warm and friendly and definitely enhanced the overall experience. So glad we went!

The main course and bread were perfection. Small portions but delicious! I asked 2x for an orange for my water. Never received. We waited a long time for our waitress to take our order, and come check on us after food received. It did not appear to be That busy so she may have been the only waitress in the place. She seemed distracted.
The bread is delicious but We waited a long time then asked for more butter several times and it came too late - 1/2 way through our main course. Dessert was a disappointment. The pana cota itself was bland - Carmel in top good. Cookies dry.
Overall a 4 because the steak was divine and cooked perfectly.
Visited in the evening during restaurant week so it was really busy. The fixed price menu was outstanding. Shrimp appetizer was delicious as was the petite filet. The bananas foster dresser is not to be missed!

We went to Eddie V’s during Newport Beach Restaurant Week and each of us (party of 4) enjoyed the prix fix $50 menu.
Everything was tasty.
The salt and pepper shrimp was especially delicious.

Food and service was excellent. We sat in the outdoor patio which has heaters and the noise was very low. The main Restaraunt is very noisy. The prices however were ridiculously high. There was a 3 course special for restaraunt week with 4-5 choices for $50.00 however rib eye steak had a $20.00 upcharge!
One of the best restaurants in Orange County. You can always count on an exceptional meal along with fantastic service.
Food was awesome. It was a little slow but that may been due to restaurant week.
