The food is delicious! Our group of 8 enjoyed the filet mignon potstickers, the sweet & spicy shrimp, a the bacon wrapped BBQ shrimp. Our favorite cocktails were the Parisian lemon drop martini, the very berry martini, the new fashioned, and the mojito. The delicious entrees were the bison filet, the seafood boulibaise, the filets, and the trio of medallions. We did wish the mushroom side dish was whole mushrooms. We were also disappointed in the truffle fries, which were overdone and just not very flavorful like we expected. The lobster Mac & cheese, however, was very good, as was the crab cake. Our favorite desserts were the gigantic carrot cake, the double chocolate cake, and brownie with ice cream and caramel sauce that was prepared tableside and flambéed! The prices are quite high but we were celebrating a special occasion.

We wanted a steakhouse to celebrate 2 birthdays. Eddie Merlot did not disappoint. The ossobuco and ribeye were both delicious. The creamed spinach was to die for. The smoky and creaminess were a good combination. Service was good for a busy Saturday night. We enjoyed the bustle of a large restaurant running well.

Always good food, but no better than any where else more moderately priced. Service was good, above average. Their items are severely overpriced. Our 2 meals, 2 drinks, and dessert plus tip were $173!!! We could've had the same experience at say, Black Canyon, for well under $100. Eddie Merlot's is a once a year event.

Eddie Merlot’s is still one of the best places to visit on Fort Wayne. As a Chicagoan and a steak lover, this place is truly a gem. This one visit is why I have my friends visit Eddie Merlot. Service, timing of food and drinks are important and they space it out great. Service is excellent, the staff always seems to be the same folks. The food, knockout this time around. If they make a mistake, they own up to it and take care of the customers and that’s standing behind your business with integrity. Love this place and will continue to support and be a happy customer!

Lacking attention, pepper and salt shakers empty, didn’t suggest fresh pepper when delivering dishes. Then had to wait for to get someone’s attention. Service never asked how our steaks were or if we could cut into them before they left. For the price I would expect perfection, improvements need to happen, even set us at the wrong table then asked us to move. We were happy todo so but how embarrassing, if that was the only miss communication it would have been fine. Lack of trained staff, I’m sure is the real problem. Last visit was 5 years ago and it was 100% 5 stars!

our dinner was on Valentine's so i realize the restaurant may not have been up to its best that night. the service was not good. we were neglected most of the night and never even offered bread. we were seated on time and the food was terrific. we were placed in the overflow area where pharmaceutical dinners are typically held so the atmosphere wasn't good.

We chose from the Savor Ft. Wayne menu. It was great. We added on Béarnaise sauce which I have had from Eddie’s before with no issues. It had a cinnamon taste to it which was strange. I had my husband taste his and he agreed. We sent it back and our server took it off the bill no issues. Otherwise service drinks and food were wonderful as always.

Yesterday I was a little disappointed. From someone that goes there all the time and gets the best experience! yesterday was a little disappointing. We were there with our kids the night before and it was great. Yesterday we met our friends there and the staff looked very stressed and the manager as well. I had a reservation at 6:30 and we got there a little bit early to see if we can get seated earlier, but that didn’t happen which is totally fine. We hang out at the bar and got a couple of drinks till our table at 6:30 supposed to be ready but we were not seated till 650 and I was really disappointed about that. There were plenty of tables available. There was no seats available at the bar so we were standing for a while.

Dinner was fine I guess but I was utterly shocked at paying $119 for very subpar king crab legs. I’ve eaten many many crab legs in my day and don’t ever remember paying that much, especially for nothing better than what you’d get at Red Lobster for 1/3 of the price. The shrimp cocktail were nice size but they didn’t look that fresh. For $325 meal, I was expecting a St. Elmo’s type of experience and this wasn’t close.

Offering USDA Prime Beef as well as fine seafood entrees, your guests are sure to be pleased! Our preset dinners offer an hors d’oeuvres course, as well as salad, choice of many exquisite entrees, accompaniments that can be served family style or plated, and desserts that are sure to wow! Private Lunches are also available for groups of 15 or more.

It is their goal to provide a fine dining steak house with emphasis on serving the finest U.S.D.A. Prime Aged Beef and Seafood. Side dishes are served family style and are large enough to serve two if desired. Eddie Merlot’s boasts a contemporary but stunningly elegant interior design and atmosphere—where guests can have fun, relax and enjoy listening to up-tempo music, while dressed in business or casual attire. There are three private rooms/areas to choose from according to your needs. The Intimate Area, which can seat approximately 20 guests comfortably, the Merlot Room, which seats approximately 60 guests and the Cabernet Room, seating 40 guests. Eddie Merlot’s Sales Manager will assist you plan a function that will leave your guests knowing who is the best host in town, you!
