I’ve been coming here for years on special occasions. They always have high quality sushi standard and it has been consistent throughout the year even post pandemic. Always ask your server for their favorite since reading 4-5 different menus can be overwhelming. The food quality and presentation are excellent. Highly recommend this place.

Perfect sushi spot for a night out. All the sushi is so fresh tasting. It is pricey but it’s worth it. Make sure to get there early or you’ll be waiting. I prefer to get wine here over cocktails. 😍😍😍😍can’t wait to go back!!!!!!

This place has it all. The best sushi I've ever had by far. Service has always been great. Suggestions on pairings of sake and sushi are always amazing. Servers definitely take their time with each table. Ambience is outstanding. Definitely a spot to keep coming back to and I recommend it to anyone looking for a great sushi experience.

You get what you pay for and the quality of the food and level of service was unbelievable. We walked in on a Friday night about 1 hour before close. The time didn’t matter because the quality and friendliness of the staff was still top notch. The menu has a lot of variety even for those that do not want sushi.

Delicious and fresh sushi. It helps that the sashimi was at the perfect temperature. For their quality of food; prices are good. Had the tuna crudo and didn't want to stop eating. Salad with their wonderful dressing hit the spot. Definitely worth many repeat visits.

I was so disappointed. The service was good, but the food was barely fair at best. The steamed edamame was cold and only warm in spots. It was also wet. The rice was room temperature and only part of it was cooked? It had no flavor The chicken was frozen. The barbecue pork rib was mostly fat and served at room temperature. I didn't even try the salad because the greens were limp, curled, & brown. My partner actually spit out his sushi and that's his favorite food sushi

Some of the best sushi I have had in the area. Tuna was gorgeous and salmon didn't have the overwhelming lakey taste some has. Price was also incredibly reasonable on their house sushi combos. Presentation was 10/10 as well. Wonderfully extra, without being tacky.

This was the Denny’s of sushi restaurants. I’m not really sure how they got the star rating that they have. The quality of the fish was bargain basement yet the price did not reflect that. Food was generally bad across-the-board, mixed bag menu, and timely service, but not great attitude with very little knowledge of the food menu. We left with over half of the food remaining on the plates of all four items that we ordered for the two of us.

Wow! This is some of the best sushi I’ve ever eaten! We sat at the bar and watched the chefs make magic right before our eyes. They were super busy yet every plate was skillfully crafted with precision and FAST! It was *very* fresh and every taste was a delicate flavor bomb. I was actually sad when we finished… I wanted more!

I love sushi. We ate here for the first time today, and this is some of the very best sushi we have had in the area. We had the Yummyyummy roll and the Cherry Blossom which had flavorful, buttery and generous slices of fish. The staff had a lot of tables to cover, but were polite, knowledgable and officiant. The quality sushi really hit the spot and we will be back.

I'm still finding my way when it comes to sushi. Luckily the people I went to lunch with knew what was good. We got 5 rolls, all of them were so good! Like I said I'm no sushi expert, but I'll definitely be back!!

Tried Ebisu Sushi yesterday and loved it. The sushi was fresh, and the service friendly. Had the calamari, the red dragon roll, the crunchy roll, the Katsu and a glass of Chardonnay.

Ebisu Sushi is the best sushi spot in Austin,it’s my favorite hands down. The food is always fast, staff is really friendly, the ingredients are high quality and always fresh. 10/10. The spicy edamame is delicious and comes in a really big serving size. The mochi ice cream are bite sized and honestly some of my favorite ice cream in the city. This place is so good

We live a few minutes away and that easy for us to come here very often like once week. We have been to many many Japanese restaurants.Ebisu is one of the best we have been to. The price, portions, taste delicious and services. PERFECT0 !

Such a delightful experience. Sushi was delicious, came out in a cute boat with all items we ordered from the Happy Hour menu. We had the old fashioned, lychee mojito and sake. The drinks were so well made, and wasn’t too sugary. We will definitely be back!

Went here for my birthday while visiting my sister in Austin.I’m used to eating sushi in LA where I’m from and was very happy with my experience here,Ebisu had a laid back ambiance and many different sushi offerings and I liked a the funny names of the various rolls. We ended up ordering the sushi boat which was a lot even for 2 people, but everything was good and the server was very sweet and attentive.

One of the best sushi places I have been to. I loved the atmosphere and the food! Their menu is much more creative than I am used to and I actually branched out from my norm. They also have great drink options. Definitely recommend!

We arrived a little early and went to check in, and we were told it would be an additional 30 minutes. So we didn’t get to order until 9:15. The food was alright,, I wouldn’t say it was great. Then this morning I get a no show warning from Open Table because they reported me. After I spent $200- wow. They didn’t even offer to make it right and comp anything and then the reported me as a no show. Not good at all!

The sushi here is absolutely delicious. Very nice service and the food came at pretty fast. I had the Shrimp and Vegetable tempera. I also had to try the the spider roll, which was everything I expected. To finish off the meal we tried the green tea ice cream which was probably the best I've ever eaten. Overall this i would recommend going here for some delicious Japanese food.

Tasty food. Wide selection (sushi and sashimi, bento, noodles, rice dishes, fried and grilled dishes, appetizers, dessert, alcohol). Great customer service and staff. Good portion sizes at good prices. Have dined in multiple times and will continue to do so!
