What Insiders Are Saying
The food at Eberly isn't yet destination-worthy, but the place is worth stopping by for the people watching alone.
Scallops and halibut were great. Octopus not liked by both who ordered it. Dry and accompaniment not so good. Noise was way beyond comfortable. Was fine when we arrived at 7. By the time we left it was so loud we probably would not return.
We took our teenage girls and their boyfriends. Fun
If you are looking for a nice place to have a few drinks, appetizers, and meet great folks, this is a great place to go. My recommended filet was over cooked and tough. the steak knife provided by the waiter wouldn't cut into the steak and crushed it. Tried the asparagus and it was burnt! not grilled, burnt on the outside. Like rushed. we ordered the salmon as well and it was cooked as requested, medium well.
the overall cleanliness of the establishment is incredible, the ambience was made in every attention to the details all the way to the lightbulbs and sparkling penny tiles.
the drinks were delicious and the waiter knew every aspect of the menu with some terrific recommendations .
Beautiful setting, great food and very accommodating staff. If you’re visiting, great place to go if you are going to/from airport. They let us store our bags and hang in the lounge after our meal.
Had a great birthday brunch! Food was delicious and service was top notch!
I went for my birthday and had the best time. We loved the hush puppies & octopus! Great wine menu and even better cocktails. Our server was attentive and they even put happy birthday on the menu for me!
Great valet & wait staff. Scallops were a little spicy/strongly flavored. Delicious hush puppies and key lime pie. Wonderful cocktails and wine😊
overrated and overpriced food
Fun atmosphere but the food was unremarkable. We ordered salmon and we asked for it to be cooked medium. It came out practically raw and over seasoned. It was very salty. The food is okay. Great cocktails and ambiance!
Consistent performance at a high level, with well executed dishes, superior service and solid cocktails. Overall a favorite in Austin.
Excellent food but freezing cold so bring a coat.
Excellent evening with a large party that was dynamically handled perfectly during peak busyness which is always challenging.
Great place to go on a date or with friends. Ambiance is fantastic as was the food and service!
Very nice space, though it was uncomfortably cold. Food and cocktails were excellent!
Eberly is one of our favorites. It never disappoints!
We had a lovely brunch there. Very low key, with great service and tasty food.
Was the perfect spot for a wonderful dinner with friends in Austin. The waiter was outstanding and the hospitality staff friendly and helpful!
Was an amazing experience!
Loved our time there. My sister's and I get together rarely by ourselves and we chose to hang out at eberly. valet was kind, Katie gave great suggestions and was very attentive. Cocktails and food we're spot on.
Only negatives... family with 2 kids were seated right behind us when there were plenty of other tables available...lots of criticism of Chloe and Sebastian's eating habits. 🤨 The restaurant is so beautiful, but the bar area kind of looks forgotten about. I don't know if it was because our server was grumpy or the fact that pictures on the wall were askew...not big deals but our dinner was so great that when something else wasn't that awesome you really notice it.
Excellent food. Excellent service. Excellent experience.
Our favorite brunch in Austin
We had a wonderful experience celebrating my sister's bachelorette weekend! The food was delicious and the service was fantastic!
This was our first visit to Eberly. We started with the Hushpuppies (not to be missed) and Grilled Octopus (delicious). We were celebrating our anniversary and were presented with customized menus saying Happy Anniversary along with complimentary champaign. From outside the restaurant looks like a warehouse, but inside there is an eclectic mix of modern, garden and antique bar. Quite stunning to see and when paired with great service and food it is something not to be missed in Austin.
Food was delicious and atmosphere is unique. Wish there was more selection in the menu. Service was attentive and We had a great evening.
Girls night out everything was perfect!
Took my girlfriend here for her birthday, because I had read and heard good things. Turned out after all the hype, we both found It all to just be...very Underwhelming. To start, For what you’ll pay, the foods not comparable to other restaurants in this price range. They try to make up for it with the ambiance but it just isn’t enough to justify for the quality of food we received. Small Menus usually mean the higher quality the food, but that wasn’t the case. The furniture and style felt cheap - like eating in a boutique lobby hotel in Miami. I would go back to the tavern for a drink and Pizza, but the restaurant was a one and done. Slightly more pretentious crowd for our taste. Staff was wonderful though.
Absolutely fabulous - design, service, food - all 5*!!
Eberly is all over the top for special occasions. The hostesses were very nice and all the staff wished my wife a Happy Birthday
Our waiter Brandon was exceptional and the entrees and dessert were exquisite. Thank y’all
Service & food were both outstanding! Definitely going back.
Highly recommend! The service was stellar and the vibe was perfect for my birthday party with family and friends. We got their early to get craft cocktails at the bar before dinner. Had a great time!
Eberly provided excellent food and excellent service. It was a wonderful dining experience.
I dined at Eberly with a group of 4 on Sunday night to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant wasn't full, but definitely busy. Our waiter was awesome - personable, attentive and informative. We started with an excellent charcuterie board, one of the best I have ever had. Two of us had the wood grilled filet with asparagus and mini potatoes and deemed it excellent. A third member of our party had the shells and cheese and also loved her dish. The fourth had the pomodoro and added shrimp and scallops. She noted that the pasta was under-cooked, but made due and ate most of it anyway (our waiter brought her a beverage on the house to make up for it). For dessert we split the peach cobbler bar and the pineapple rum cake. All in all, we were happy with our experience at Eberly! We will be back!
very few choices for gluten free diet. Almost none except the basic egg and bacon breakfast. No dessert menu. No smiling waiters. Will not go back
We really like the atmosphere here; it's very relaxing. We came for brunch and it was delicious! The Croque Madame was very tasty, but a bit too rich for me. My husband had the Eggs Benedict and pronounced it to be very tasty. The wait staff were very friendly and efficient. We'll be back again soon!
It was great!
Manager gave us a tour and history of the place after brunch, perfect Father’s Day brunch!
This is one of my favorite restaurants. My husband and I enjoyed our anniversary dinner here! Everything was perfect!
Father’s Day gathering. Excellent quality food. Need more than one fish choice on menu - in addition to the octopus, scallops, oysters and mussels. And another vegan option too. A little noisy. All in - an excellent evening.
Ordered the oysters & was very DISAPPOINTED! smallest oysters I've ever seen in my life - 6 for $22? I was robbed big time! I won't return.
Eberly is a dream. I will always come here for my special occasions because the service is incredible! The food is always delicious, they have a sommelier that can help you with wine, and the atmosphere is wonderful. Can’t go wrong with this place!!
