What Insiders Are Saying
The food at Eberly isn't yet destination-worthy, but the place is worth stopping by for the people watching alone.
Excellent food. Excellent service. Excellent experience.
Our favorite brunch in Austin
We had a wonderful experience celebrating my sister's bachelorette weekend! The food was delicious and the service was fantastic!
This was our first visit to Eberly. We started with the Hushpuppies (not to be missed) and Grilled Octopus (delicious). We were celebrating our anniversary and were presented with customized menus saying Happy Anniversary along with complimentary champaign. From outside the restaurant looks like a warehouse, but inside there is an eclectic mix of modern, garden and antique bar. Quite stunning to see and when paired with great service and food it is something not to be missed in Austin.
Food was delicious and atmosphere is unique. Wish there was more selection in the menu. Service was attentive and We had a great evening.
Girls night out everything was perfect!
Took my girlfriend here for her birthday, because I had read and heard good things. Turned out after all the hype, we both found It all to just be...very Underwhelming. To start, For what you’ll pay, the foods not comparable to other restaurants in this price range. They try to make up for it with the ambiance but it just isn’t enough to justify for the quality of food we received. Small Menus usually mean the higher quality the food, but that wasn’t the case. The furniture and style felt cheap - like eating in a boutique lobby hotel in Miami. I would go back to the tavern for a drink and Pizza, but the restaurant was a one and done. Slightly more pretentious crowd for our taste. Staff was wonderful though.
Absolutely fabulous - design, service, food - all 5*!!
Eberly is all over the top for special occasions. The hostesses were very nice and all the staff wished my wife a Happy Birthday
Our waiter Brandon was exceptional and the entrees and dessert were exquisite. Thank y’all
Service & food were both outstanding! Definitely going back.
Highly recommend! The service was stellar and the vibe was perfect for my birthday party with family and friends. We got their early to get craft cocktails at the bar before dinner. Had a great time!
Eberly provided excellent food and excellent service. It was a wonderful dining experience.
I dined at Eberly with a group of 4 on Sunday night to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant wasn't full, but definitely busy. Our waiter was awesome - personable, attentive and informative. We started with an excellent charcuterie board, one of the best I have ever had. Two of us had the wood grilled filet with asparagus and mini potatoes and deemed it excellent. A third member of our party had the shells and cheese and also loved her dish. The fourth had the pomodoro and added shrimp and scallops. She noted that the pasta was under-cooked, but made due and ate most of it anyway (our waiter brought her a beverage on the house to make up for it). For dessert we split the peach cobbler bar and the pineapple rum cake. All in all, we were happy with our experience at Eberly! We will be back!
very few choices for gluten free diet. Almost none except the basic egg and bacon breakfast. No dessert menu. No smiling waiters. Will not go back
We really like the atmosphere here; it's very relaxing. We came for brunch and it was delicious! The Croque Madame was very tasty, but a bit too rich for me. My husband had the Eggs Benedict and pronounced it to be very tasty. The wait staff were very friendly and efficient. We'll be back again soon!
Manager gave us a tour and history of the place after brunch, perfect Father’s Day brunch!
This is one of my favorite restaurants. My husband and I enjoyed our anniversary dinner here! Everything was perfect!
Father’s Day gathering. Excellent quality food. Need more than one fish choice on menu - in addition to the octopus, scallops, oysters and mussels. And another vegan option too. A little noisy. All in - an excellent evening.
Ordered the oysters & was very DISAPPOINTED! smallest oysters I've ever seen in my life - 6 for $22? I was robbed big time! I won't return.
Eberly is a dream. I will always come here for my special occasions because the service is incredible! The food is always delicious, they have a sommelier that can help you with wine, and the atmosphere is wonderful. Can’t go wrong with this place!!
Everything was amazing and we will definitely be coming back!
Liked everything about Eberly a lot except, unfortunately, the food. It wasn't bad, just not exciting or particularly good.
Our server Jordan was EXCELLENT!!! The special touches they did to make my birthday rememberable, were over the top. There was a dish that was no longer on the menu, but they worked their magic and made it happen. Thanks y’all, we will certainly be back.
We went here for our anniversary brunch and everything was outstanding, to the service, the food and the environment. The servers knew it was our anniversary and congratulated us and they sat us at a very special table. Although, I don’t think there was a bad spot in the place! It was beautiful.
Everything was good! They even allowed me to get some yuzu kosho on the side along with my salmon. Great experience!
Excellent service by the waitstaff and the food was amazing as always. Thank you.
Absolutely gorgeous space and friendly staff, so this would be a great venue for a date and cocktails, but the food was pretty lackluster for brunch. I didn't finish my frittata because it was overcooked and flavorless.
Great cocktails, very attentive service (too attentive?), beautiful space, all dishes ordered were delicious.
The grill octopus was amazing!!
Loved our experience at Eberly! We had some great bites and awesome service.
You must try the mussels! Focaccia bread, yum! Everyone so nice. Wonderful table, food, drinks, and service.
It was a wonderful spot for an anniversary. We had the poke, Mac and cheese, and carrots to start. And we had the salmon and squash for entrees. All the food was so amazing. And the drinks were elevated takes on prohibition style cocktails. The waiters were always attentive and paced the meal quite well. The dessert - chocolate creme brûlée - was beautiful and so tasty.
Great overall experience. Will be back!
The ambience, service and decor is great. The food was just good, not very good and not great. Austin has become such a foodie town that anything good and under is average. I expected more however I might go back for drinks, probably not for dinner though.
Great spot. Freezing cold at brunch...over air conditioned in green house space.
Came here for breakfast. We would have liked to have been seated in the Atrium, and I asked the hostess. She told me that has to be requested when making reservation. Since the Atrium was relatively empty the whole time we were seated against a wall in our cramped booth, I'm not sure why they couldn't accommodate my request.
The food was decent, but its not so difficult to poach a couple of eggs and make a pancake. The home fries were good though. The waitress didn't refill my coffee. No real reason to go back. Nice bathrooms. Its like a row of doors and they say vacant or occupied. But I think someone forgot to lock the door because as I was washing my hands I heard someone open one of the doors and say "Ooops sorry" .
Very cool place to take your date.
Appetizers were great as well as the cocktails, but the entree was well executed but was flat.
I was so excited to bring my friend here because I’ve tried the cocktails once and they were delicious. But for dinner it was a disappointment. I made reservations for 8:30pm and it was suggested by the hosts (who were all really nice) to sit outside to be seated before our reservation. My friend and I sat on the patio for 20min and was not greeted at all... my friend even asked the hosts where the server was and they told us she should be outside...when the server finally came out she greeted two other tables that came after us and didn’t acknowledge us at all with menus or waters. We ended up going back inside and sitting at the bar. Bartender greeted promptly and was friendly. However it left a bad taste in my mouth since the experience wasn’t what I had hoped for.
