Great food and great service! Will definitely be back soon :)
I had a work dinner at Eberly and it was outstanding in all respects. I was so impressed I made another reservation for my husband's birthday!! We ordered the milk buns and octopus for starters, followed by Halibut, Mushroom Pasta and Short Ribs. All amazing.
Awesome food, ambiance and service.
This is one of the best places in Austin, hands down. Expect a gorgeous venue and an equally lovely dining experience.
The food was outstanding and the wine menu had several unique options. Great ambiance. We also sat at the 150 year old bar for a nightcap after dinner. This restaurant did not disappoint.
Wouldn’t accommodate dietary restrictions.
High top tables near the bar were great. Great food, great drinks and nice vibe and ambiance
The Eberly is absolutely beautiful, but the service was pretty poor. Our reservations were at 5pm for a party of 4, and once we were seated inside it was FREEZING. (BRING A JACKET!!) Although it’s really annoying, I asked if we could be seated outside as long as it didn’t mess up their seating chart. They said they would but that there is a chance of rain. I looked at the weather app it was a 0% chance of rain all day….so they were clearly lying or completely oblivious….
Then, our waiter was definitely high. Took our drink order 3 times, and our food order twice, kept dropping things and his eyes were red. Nice.
Other than the service, the atmosphere and food&drink were absolutely superb!
The space was too noisy and we were unable to talk partly because our table was in the middle of the room and the end banquet was unusaly shaped so we werr distanced. All of the food was great with the exception of the overcooked shortrib
which was unedible.
We loved the food and the drinks were over the top! Also, be sure to ask Tommy about the history of this place. Especially the bar! We will be back for sure!
Eberly staff made this birthday dinner special. Tentative staff and a few extra things thrown in the mix made this special.
Beautiful restaurant has a great vibe. Would be a great date place and I love the lounge would be a fun place to go just for cocktails too. The chicken and the halibut were delicious and I could eat a whole order of the croquettes myself.
Very great food! Fantastic service, our waiter and the support staff cleared the table after each course . Did not feel rushed at all the entire night. Great restaurant and will definitely return.
It was a beautiful location. Valet made it easy. Nick was our server, he made great suggestions and was amazing from start to finish. The food was just as wonderful as I remember from the last time I was there.
We had heard such wonderful things from friends who have visited but the experience left us feeling a little… Cold
Great service and the decor was awesome. Would recommend this place.
Steak was ok and Halibut was ok too....place is amazing, great decor and great service. But portions are small and food is mediocre. Especially for the halibut (My 110lb girlfriend was still a little hungry after main course). Outside of the food they have done an amazing job, really nice place....If you're a man over 160lbs you may need to order 2 main courses.
Love Eberly! Our server was outstanding as was the food! Stayed after dinner to have a drink in the Cedar Tavern which is also fabulous!
Overall, cute dinner spot. Food is pretty good - one dish came out a bit salty but the wine was fantastic. Sommelier was knowledgeable and super nice.
Only negative was smokers on patio.
Everything else was great.
Great ambience, great service and food. Bar and roof top are amazing. Great spot for dinner and then staying for cocktails after dinner!
Awesome service and great menu selections!
Delish good and beautiful space.
Eberly hosted us for our 3 year anniversary. They set us up at a very nice booth and had a hand signed note on our arrival. Food was incredible as always, but the extra touch for the occasion sent it over the top. Loved it.
Iconic mushroom pasta
The table was perfect! The food was delicious and the service was outstanding!
Great food and ambiance. Limited menu but very good. Loved the Halibut.
First time there, our waiter was kinda rude he wasn’t very accommodating,, seem to be miserable working there at all, the menu was very limited, our food honestly was just ok. Had the short ribs which came highly recommended and the rabbit dish, both were just ok. don’t think I would ever recommend this place but the ambience of the restaurant was nice. .
My husband did have a great whiskey sour.
Eberly made my friend’s goodbye party so special! The staff gave my friend a personal goodbye note, wishing her the most success, it was very special to us all.
The food was delicious and unique! The cocktails all have a twist to them and advanced mixology. I enjoyed the beef tartar for an appetizer, and Mac & cheese on the side of my entree. The Mac & Cheese was so good, a must have!
Our server was polite and attentive. The restaurant was comfortable and very beautifully set. I will be coming back!
Love the atmosphere… different dining “rooms” were very unique. Our server was “Thomas P”. He was very pleasant and attentive and very professional. A real asset to a classy restaurant like Eberly!
The halibut was a little dry and somewhat salty, but great otherwise - especially the octopus salad!
We will definitely be returning….😊
First time at Eberly and I can bet it won’t be our last. The ambiance and decor is what sold me on the reservation as well as in-person. Food menu is limited. Bathrooms are unisex. Service is amazing and never had to wait longer than necessary on any ordered item. Our server, Esmae (not sure how to spell it), took care of us!
3 stars only because the place is beautiful and the service is excellent. The food however… it was uninspired and overall disappointing. Our table of 4 ordered nearly the entire menu and all agreed- Apps were just okay and same with dessert. Everything else was not good. This menu needs a major overhaul and better quality for ingredients. I’d consider going back for drinks but definitely not eating here again.
Wonderful wine, delightful apps + entrees, pleasant atmosphere. Kind staff.
Beautiful looking place, but prices are too high for food that is not exceptional.
Went to Eberly for date night — overall good experience, we started with the house salad and tuna tartare. Both great! For dinner, I had the halibut, which was delicious. Feel like the food could’ve been warmer. My fiancé got the short rib — he said it felt undercooked as it should’ve been more tender but that’s just how he likes it. Said it was good though.
The restaurant space, decor, and food presentation were beautiful. The food itself was unfortunately bland. Come for drinks only.
Second time I've been here: once for brunch and once for dinner. Gorgeous restaurant and great service but the food is just meh.
Waiter refused to wear a mask. Most other staff wore masks. She said she was vaccinated and management made it optional. We told her she could still transmit covid. We are in our late 60s and both vaccinated. We have lost family members to covid. Even vaccinated ones. Although we have been here many times, we will not be back even after the pandemic. Too bad management cannot be more responsible.
Great ambience, service, and overall dining experience.
The service was very slow and I wish I could say that was the worst of the issues at Eberly. Not only was the menu limited (5 total entrees?????), the chef was not willing to make accommodations for changes to the ONE vegan meal that was presented (cauliflower).
Food that was brought out was cold. The piece (and I mean piece) of halibut that was served was about as small as it could be...for that price I expected more. I will say that the halibut was tasty, but it was also cold when served. The cauliflower dish that was served to my girlfriend was also served cold.
We arrived at 8pm and had a simple appetizer (tuna poke), our meals, and a desert to go and it took over 3 hours.
On the good side, the drinks we had were great and the decor was nice. For that amount of money, there are plenty of other places that we will go to and have a much better experience.
