A bar straight out of 1920’s prohibition America, from the moment you walk in you are taken back to a much forgotten era. Once inside you can sit up at the bar, at one of our shared high tables, our low banquette and coffee table seating, or a more intimate and private booth.

Secretly hidden behind our book case, the Whisky Room owes its name to our large collection of rare and exclusive whiskies that live here. It is also home to our Bottle Lockers, where you can purchase your favourite spirit bottle from Eau-de- Vie and store it for your next visit.

    Great drinks and an awesome atmosphere, service lacked as they were busy so it took a long while between drinks otherwise we’d have purchased more. But the service we did receive was lovely when they came to us. We’d come back!

    Service was disgraceful. Our waitperson went on a break and no one filled in to take our order. Another came and took the ipad so we could see the menu. No one checked-in on us apart from saying that we had 20 mins until our time slot was up. We complained and he gave us a tablet however it was virtually unusable. We gave up and left after having only one drink when we were prepared to spend big on some great whiskey and snacks. As we were leaving the original waitperson's break had finished and we told her about our experience. She was lovely and very apologetic, but by that stage, it was too late. In short, this is the second time I've had a bad experience there, which is a complete turn around from a couple of years ago when staff would sit with you and take time to talk you through a tasting etc. These days, we've had experiences with quite arrogant staff. Perhaps the result of too much success. We felt like just a number and like pains in the neck. We had friends from out of town and it was such a disappointment as we really wanted to show them a good time. It makes me feel sad as we used to love the place, but will not be going back.

    Eau de Vie is the cocktail bar to go to if you want extravagant drinks, impeccable service, and a luxe night out. My partner and I sat at the bar, and we were constantly amazed by the art performed by the bartenders making all of the cocktails - and not only were the cocktails gorgeous, delicious, and impressive, the bar staff were so friendly and kind! It was fun to choose a cocktail category and be guided by the bar staff to choose a perfect drink. We will definitely be back!!

    Great spot for an intimate get together with a friend or small group of friends. Cocktails are great and staff are fabulous, basically you’re in for a good night.
