I am confused by the many glowing reviews? Our service was downright poor. London Fog was never delivered, didn’t show on the bill so was likely not input! There’s a sign on the door and hostess stand stating that egg prices have forced them to add $2 to any dish that utilizes eggs. The sign is obvious, but $2 per dish is a big bump. And when the bill arrived, there was a living wage fee added as well. It was loud, the seating was uncomfortable, the wooden tables are cleaned with a solution that makes them sticky. The decaf coffee was undrinkable. I was excited to try this restaurant because if its reviews. There’s many choices for brunch that are better…

Today was our first visit to Eat. The place was popular as it was full at 11am on a Saturday. Unfortunately, our visit wasn’t enjoyable enough to where we might go back. Our waitress was pleasant, but rarely came back to check on us. We had to wave her down several times to get refills. Those of us that ordered breakfast items were thrilled with the food. It looked great and tasted great. Those that ordered lunch items had the opposite experience. All our sandwiches were dry and disappointing. Stick to breakfast here. The biggest problem we had was the noise. The restaurant is one big cavernous area with absolutely no sound baffling. It was deafening inside. There was no way to adequately hold a conversation. You could only talk to the person next to you. Anyone else at the table couldn’t hear what you were saying. You’d expect this of a bar or something, but not a breakfast place. I wish we had sat outside.

The service was not dependable today and the food was average. The food bill had too many additional service charges ie: kitchen surcharge, egg surcharge, etc. Since we were a party of 7 gratuity is added. Unfortunately, our waiter did not do a good job to justify the 22%

Great experience! Our first time eating here (brunch) and it was a wonderful selection. We both really enjoyed our dishes and the drinks.

The food this mediocre. There were way too many mushrooms in the scramble, the toast was burnt, the jelly had big jello-type lumps in it. it was over $40 for two entrees and no beverages for just two people, and that’s with the whopping $4.00 discount we were given because some drunk 20-something males were yelling things at my son and I, loudly showing each other pictures of women with big “t*ts,” and being completely obnoxious, to where we rushed through our breakfast as fast as possible so we could leave. Terrible experience, and we won’t return any anytime soon. Not the (very timid) staff’s fault, but why would you over-serve to that extent at 9:30 in the morning?
