Cold food, poor presentation, pretty bland, and the restaurant leaned awfully quickly into the lack of a mask mandate for their staff.
Not sure if it should matter but the restaurant closes at 2:30 and that was the time of our reservation. It was mothers day and the menu was a buffet style so you can imagine our disappointment when we were charge full price for scrapes. Everything was cold and pretty much not very good. Probably won't go back. Or recommend to anyone. We felt like we were being scammed out of our money from the beginning.
Mother’s Day was buffet only. Very costly @ 30$/adult. Spread has nice variety, but some hot items (pancakes & waffles) just sat on plates getting cold. Service was nonexistent. Will not go again.
The Mother’s Day buffet was disappointing, over priced and the food was cold.
Alejandro was so friendly and helpful! The chicken and waffles knocked it out of the park and the passion fruit mimosa was delicious! We sat in the patio, and the atmosphere was hoppin’! Love this place!
Part of our party arrived and checked in on time and part of us were late, it still took the restaurant twenty minutes to seat us. We waited another 15 minutes before our server took our order, he forgot our coffee, and it says 20 minutes before food arrived. The food was good, but the service level is lacking.
The food was not great, less than mediocre. The service was not good, we weren’t even sure who our server was since they didn’t greet us with hi or hello, they just started pouring our water. The server never came back to check on us either. Pretty bad experience.
Very frustrating experience. We were seated directly next to the waiter station, so it was consistently busy and loud and the wait staff hovering over our table. I understand they have to have a station but they should not to put a table there. Took an hour to get our food. Had to ask multiple times for cream and sugar for the coffee. I ordered Johnny cake waffles ‘flavored’ with peanut butter and banana and bacon as the meat. I was very shocked to see if that for $16 I got 4 smaller than the palm of my hand waffles that were burnt. Also the “flavoring“ was just a scoop of peanut butter in the middle with a sliced banana on top. That’s fine but the menu made it out to sound a lot better than that. I asked for syrup and the manager grab syrup and hot sauce from a table that had not been bussed yet and set it down on my table. It was dirty and sticky and I don’t appreciate in these COVID days not wiping things down before you had them to somebody else.
When I didn’t like the flavor of these apparently corn filled waffles, the manager actually argued with me instead of just accepting the fact that I didn’t like them. Then proceeded to come back to our table 3 different times interrupting us about me not liking the food. While I appreciate the waiter trying to help out, this manager would not leave us alone. He did take some of the meal off the bill, but charged me $5.06 for two slices of bacon.
I will not be returning.
We can't review the food from the Early Bird Restaurant because we were never served. Our reservation was for 11:45. It took almost a half hour to be seated. We gave them the benefit of the doubt on that one based on it being Sunday Brunch. Then it took another half hour to be served the correct beverages. (It was obvious my smoothie had been sitting at the bar for some time as it was very melted. And they served the wrong soda. The bloody Mary was tasty.) We sat there as the table behind
us received their food. They were seated right after us. At 1:00 the Manager said he would check on our food order. We thanked him. The table behind us, seated right after us, had finished eating and left. A new group was seated at that table at 1:00. At 1:30, that table received their meal. And we still had not been served. Again, we spoke to the Manager. After much blaming of everything from COVID to the computer system, and some defensive rudeness from our server, the Manager admitted that our order had not been prepared. He admitted our food was not ready. So, after 1 hour and 45 minutes of sitting politely and waiting patiently, we left, for good. So disappointing! I was looking forward to trying their gluten free chicken and waffles. I guess I'll never know.
Too crowded in the main room. Waited for food too long. Coffee did not taste good. Covid-19 9% surcharge in addition??? Food was decent
I really enjoyed this. Their offerings are new and unusual (not in a weird way) and it was nice to try something new. I had the benedict that has bbq pork on a biscuit with creamed spinach and hollandaise with poached eggs. Sounds unusual but it really worked. I will absolutely order it again. It is a nice breakfast option in the DTC.
Food was tasty. Took a while to get the food. Extra 9% charge for covid reasons. Noticed some of their processes where off the mark. There was cinnimon rolls set out around the restraunt uncovered. Also noticed that some decorations had dust on them. Table cleaning was subpar.
Server was busy so our good was cold.
Good brunch spot! The grapefruit mimosa is good!
Had to wait 45 minutes past our reservation. We did not get menus until 10 minutes after we were seated. We were in a small room with another table for a large party. It was so loud we had to yell to hear each other. The food took forever to come. We were debating just leaving. I made better eggs when I was 5 years old. Over easy eggs should not have raw egg whites. Low quality all around. They sent toast out with nothing on it. It was embarassing that I chose that place for my sisters birthday.
Busy restaurant (Easter Sunday) - good food and energetic setting. One order was wrong but the waiter quickly corrected it
Great breakfast (awesome biscuits!) with friendly, quick service.
:l bad table after I asked a week prior
Great service, great food!
Unfortunately in all three of our orders things were omitted. I had the biscuit (1 biscuit) with gravy and I asked for no eggs. It came without the side of potatoes and I didn’t notice until halfway through my meal and the waitress wasn’t even familiar with the menu item. Potatoes also omitted from my friend’s B&G meal. My other friend ordered the griddle and he only got french toast and had to ask for his bacon. The biscuit was hard and either burnt or not fresh. Unfortunately, I won’t be going back.
Delicious food and good service
Ernie was our server and his attitude was complete trash. Couldn’t be bothered. My guess is he related to the manager or owner because there is no way in hell he would be able to work anywhere else . I waited 45 minutes for a Bloody Mary and he gave me attitude saying it’s being made. Didn’t know it takes 45 minutes to make a Bloody Mary. News to me. I’ll never go back.
We went with our 1 yr old & had a good experience. Food & drinks were delicious as always.
Waiter was horrible. The french toast was hard as a rock and I could not eat it. Not once did anyone check on us, we had to get our own sugar and spoons for coffee. Horrible service and food and we will never go back. I predict this restaurant will not make it. Food was ice cold and there was about 8 people in the entire restaurant we could see to the kitchen that all the waiters and waitresses were just talking instead of taking care of the clients. SO BAD!
Probably one of the best brunches we've had in a long time. Service was a tad slow at times when waiting for drinks, but food was brought out in a flash. Definitely a must go again.
It was a birthday brunch for my husbands 51.
Outdoor seating with inadequate heating for guests.
