    I wanted to take my boyfriend to Earls for his birthday as he has never been before and in the past I have loved it, however this time was a terrible experience. Our server was really nice and helpful for the most part; this was our only good experience while we were at the restaurant. My boyfriend’s food came out and there was a massive hair in it along with an eyelash extension. This was so gross and I’ve never experienced this before at Earls the many times I have been there. Our server was kind about it and replaced his meal. However, we were promised twice that a manager would come over and talk to us about the incident, but this never happened. Additionally, a server refilled my water glass and split it on the table so they promised to give us extra napkins, but this didn’t happen either. Both this and the lack of a manager coming to speak to us, made us feel forgotten about and not cared about. When it came time to pay for the meal, we weren’t offered anything in compensation for the hair in my boyfriend’s food. At most restaurants, they offer the meal for free or at least a dessert for free. I had to eat my food without my boyfriend so mine didn’t get cold while my boyfriend sat there without food. Overall, I am so incredibly disappointed and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to this particular establishment. Earls used to be my favourite restaurant and now… I won’t be going back.

    Drinks took over 10 minutes, draft filled to 3/4 of glass, happy hour pricing was not applied to our bill, waited way too long to be moved, bar was super slow. I haven’t been to this location in a couple of years, our visit was on a Sunday, I can’t imagine going there between a Thursday and Saturday….will not likely return….

    We were the first table that showed up and ordered salads. We got them at the same time a 10 top was closing out for their lunch that we had gotten there before.

    We were there for a special family brunch. 6 of us. Every single order with poached eggs was a huge disappointment as the eggs were so overcooked. We mentioned to our server so the chef would know and not disappoint other patrons. This was my first booking/experience. Sadly way below standard.

    Had my meal comped by earnest manager but of course that didn’t give me the relaxing dinner out that I wanted. Ignored by my server - had to flag down another server to seek her out. When food came it was barely room temperature. Will not be returning here again as this was not my first experience like this. Very sad, because when things did go well I always enjoyed the food and the ambience.

    Loved Earls! First time in Toronto and selected Earls from previous reviews on line. Everything was amazing! Aria our waiter was so amazing! We are senior citizens so we’re the oldest people in restaurant but loved every minute of our experience!
