   I have always had a great dining experience at Earls in Assembly and often my go to place when family arrive from overseas or for girlie brunches. But this last time the staff went above and beyond, our group had a special request for a table and Tiffany the host was so attentive to the requests, calling me back to assure me and was so kind and attentive on the day. Luis our waiter, I hope I got his name right, was also awesome and the birthday girl in our group got a special complimentary dessert. Food was great and A+ staff at Earls.

   Hillstone vibes in Boston. The only real negative was having to watch out waitress who was WAY more interested in standing chatting with her co-workers (5 feet away from us, with her back to us). This wan't one conversation, but multiple, with anyone who happened to be in her vicinity. It was a busy Saturday night. She had other tables - we were all ignored. Maybe there was something serious happening that she needed to share with each one of her coworkers? But watching it happen so close to where we were sitting and needing to wave people down to interrupt her conversations to ask her to come over to order, clear our plates, order dessert - really distracted from the experience.

   The music was way too loud.there was a DJ at 3:30 in the afternoon The food and drinks were good but not worth the price.

   The price on their menu list and website is not updated. They charged my martini and my husband’s old fashion $22 each when it’s is as $16 on their menu and even on their website. I didn’t realize it till after they swipe my CC. I demand for a refund and I was told that their drink menu hasn’t been updated…wth, it’s a $6 difference. Took at least 2 managers and half an hour later before they were able to fix our bill. Worst part is, if I didn’t insist, they would stick to their guns and won’t admit that it’s their system’s fault. They even told me that I chose the top shelf vodka/whiskey that made it more expensive which was not at all true! They were putting words in my mouth to cover for their mess up instead of being apologetic and just admit that their printed menu hasn’t been updated. The food was okay-nothing spectacular. Doesn’t give me a reason to go back.

   Playing really loud music for Easter Sunday brunch? Seems like an odd choice. Also, my eggs benedict clearly sat under the heat lamp for a while before being served. Lukewarm. Will not go back.
