   We have been here before and loved it. Not sure what happened but our waitress forgot drinks, no refills, asked for our entrees and skipped apprtizers, asked if we wanted dessert but didn’t review the menu or give us one to reference.

   Although the food is generally good, service is strained and don’t be surprised if you get no one to acknowledge you when you come or go. It’s certainly not fine dining as promised. Servers have no shadow server, they are serving up to 6 tables at a time by themselves, and they run out of items often. The manager is consistently unfriendly and unwelcoming. Overpriced and moderately good steaks. Beautiful dining room in the river is great.

   Food was great, but service/kitchen could have been a little better. I asked for medium plus steak and it was rare. I sent back, but it was still on the rare side inside.

   We usually love coming here but for some reason it wasn't as great as usual. I'm hoping to go again and change this review. When we arrived, we were sat at our table but waited for nearly 20 minutes for anyone to greet us. I had to ask one of the other staff members if we had a server or not. Our server was a little rude and we just felt a strange vibe the entire time. It was an incredibly expensive meal (nearly $500 with tip for three people). When you're spending this much on food, you expect to be dined in the finest. The food was great, but we ordered oysters and they took a very long time to arrive. I do hope our next experience will be better.

   We loved this place! The ribeye was amazing! Don’t skip the bacon wrapped dates.

   Decided to sit at the bar vs. a table. Is a nice place. Lovely atmosphere. Food was delicious! It is a high-end place, so the costs matches, but worth it!

   E3 offers a fantastic dining experience. Our table overlooked the flowing Yampa River right outside. Addie was spot on with the service she and her other servers provided throughout the evening. We enjoyed the delicious carpaccio and bread service with our cocktails (one of which was a lychee martini, which was as good or better than any we've enjoyed in Hawaii), then we moved on to the iceberg wedge salad with bleu cheese crumbles. Our steaks were accompanied by our selected sides of asparagus, squash, and brussels sprouts which were each served family style and were quite tasty. Our guests split a ribeye topped with bone marrow butter, and my wife and I split the 8 oz filet, topped with a parmesan horseradish crust. Both steaks were served perfectly at their requested temperatures and almost melted in our mouths. We now can't wait for spring and summer to arrive when E3 opens their garage doors to one of the best patios and al fresco dining experiences in Steamboat. E3 also informed us that a portion of our dinner tab is given to the E3 Foundation to support veterans, so although prices are ample, we know that our dining experience is supporting an extremely worthy cause.
