DVino did not honor our reservation until 30 minutes past the reservation time. The staff seemed rushed and no one apologized for not upholding our reservation. 2 groups that came after us were seated. Having worked as a server previously I understand mistakes can happen. But to not get an apology and be treated rudely after waiting was not acceptable.

My husband and I absolutely love D’Vino. The owner is incredibly personable and ensures every guest is satisfied and cared for. The food is absolutely incredible and clearly embodies the owner’s rich Italian ancestry. Awesome Italian food, awesome service, awesome place.

The food is excellent,service was above average. I find it has an odor of heavily fried food that is noticeable when you walk in and unfortunately sticks with your clothes. Sure wish they could get that figured out with additional kitchen ventilation.

The welcome and ambiance was perfect and the setting was intimate. The servers were all attentive and gracious. The owner was interactive with us and all the other guests which is always a treat. Cocktails, wine selection and the menu has something for everyone and everything our group enjoyed was perfect. I highly recommend making reservations here! Restaurants like this are few in Madison.

47th Anniversary celebration could not have been better. Mussels and Swordfish, outstanding. Nearby tables joined celebrations. A great evening.

our dining experience was terrible we started with the antipasti plate most of the meats were spicy to very hot we left most on the plate plus they put several hot peppers on the plate as fillers also uneaten. we ordered the special which was spinach stuffed ravioli with a special sauce they arrive barely warm and undercooked the edges were still raw we sent the food back and after a 15 min wait they were given back and they were still in the same condition we decided to end the meal and take the food home where we could eat it hot also there was to be fresh basil on top but we got shriveled up pea shoots we will not be back and for what we spent it as terrible not the highly recommended spot that we expected also the cook was out on the dining area shmoozing maybe if he had been in the kitchen we would have gotten a decent meal our server spent a lot of time away from us after we complained seems he was afraid to serve us also we paid cash but there was a charge for credit cards that we had on our bill so check your receipts not worth the money

Owner is very attentive, food is good and nice smaller atmosphere for dining. My daughter ate her tortellini in about five seconds. The only recommendation is to put in more subtle lighting over the booth chairs because you feel like you’re in the spotlight and it’s too bright in your eyes.

We had a dinner reservation at 6:00. We didn't get our drinks until 6:45. Entrees came out at 7:15. One server taking care of whole restaurant. We talked to manager who said she would comp the appetizer, but when we got the bill we were charged full price for everything. Food was good, but not worth the wait.

Great menu and quality of food was high. Cute decor. Only complaint is the amount of staff meant for a leisurely (slower) evening. Clearly not enough help for a full restaurant. Everyone was very energetic and sweet. Just need another server or two. Maybe more kitchen help too

I picked this restaurant for my birthday dinner have been craving some good pasta. Was so disappointed to learn that they didn’t make their own pasta . And you could tell … it was nothing special. My two friends had pasta said they were disappointed i had the sword fish and it was good but i won’t be running back there nothing special.

The food was excellent, especially the fig pizza appetizer. Martinis were very good but the blue cheese olives were not fresh (I know, I'm quibbling. Andre, the server, was gracious, funny and charming. My steak was quite good and my companion's pasta primavera with chicken looked excellent. Coffee was excellent and it came with real cream!
