Top-notch miso soup, edamame, nigiri, and futomaki rolls. The pear cider and pickled wasabi were amazing discoveries. Flawless, engaged, and attentive service. No complaints, no notes!

We went to M sushi to celebrate a birthday. As always it was a lovely experience. The food was fantastic (the Tuna crispy rice and smoked black cod were out favorite). Our server was attentive and very helpful. Every bite we had was delicious. We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the food being prepared. It always feels like a special occasion to come here and last night again did not disappoint.

Best Japanese food we have had, better than in Japan, New York, Peru, etc. Quality ingredients, beautiful preparation. We go every time we pass through Durham.
