Duke's is always a hit with our family due to the consistent quality and great service. Rockfish tacos, original clam chowder in a bread bowl, and the Wild Child Salad are our go to items. The BlackBerry cobbler is an excellent finish to any meal. Definitely join their loyalty program!

Hands down the best clam chowder I've ever had. Will definitely be back for that. Fish tacos were amazing too! Appetizers are a bit pricey for what you get though.

The waitress we had on Thurs, 2/20 (group of 5) 6:30 reservation, is THE BEST I’ve EVER encountered and I don’t remember her name. She knows her stuff and her service to us should be commended!

I bookwd online through open table. I asked for a quiet table because it was a very special occasion but yet once again I got seated next to a table with loud children who kept popping over the back of the seat it was very distracting and annoying....

Dukes is phenomenal for fresh seafood and their rockin' tacos and angry pollock are prime examples of the best you can eat on the waterfront! Their carrot cake is yummy to share with fresh brewed coffee.
Upon entering, you automatically feel welcome from the uber friendly and inviting staff led by Brett -- throughout the entire dining experience; our server, Dawn, was excellent!
Join their e-mail club -- it's well worth it!

I had cioppino soup for lunch and the portion was really small for a $22 value. Taste was ok, nothing special.

The food and view were excellent. The Salmon, Fish and Chips and Clam Chowder were all great. Tasty. My issue was with the way we ordered drinks. I ordered a Scotch on the rocks and the waitress asked if I wanted a double. I said yes. Later I ordered another. When I got the bill, I was shocked with a bill for $56 just for Scotch. Apparently, unlike every other restaurant I have been to in the last 30 years, they charge double for a double instead of charging a few bucks more than a single. I can still get a single at a lot of restaurants and get as good a pour as with this double. Even the airport only charges a few bucks more for a double and their prices are jacked up. Yes some restaurants only give you a small shot for a single price. But if you are going to charge double for a double, you really should notify the customer that it will cost double. The price for my Copper River Salmon dinner ($36), I thought was competitively priced. But my wife ordered Fish and Chips. Two pieces. Yes they are good size pieces, but this is still Fish and Chips which they sell for $25. The cost of their Clam Chowder is also marked way up. $11.90 for a 6 ounce small bowl. Then $17.90 for a 12 ounce bowl. Wow - it is good, but soup shouldn't cost that much. I can get a cup for $7 and bowl for $9 at Ivar's which makes pretty darn good chowder as well. You all know what 6 ounces is - Half of a can of soda. Not very much. For $12??
So overall, we had a good time, good food, great view, nice service (except for not warning me about double scotch), but I question the prices as I described above.

My wild salmon, the "Marry Me with Hop Scotch Butterscotch" was delicious. The service was impeccable, the margarita was yummy. Definitely will go back. It was a very busy Valentine Day lunch and yet the service was prompt and attentive. Good job Duke's!

The music was not pleasant that they had playing, mostly loud bass and unintelligible. Overall the atmosphere was too loud. I don't mind some noise and understand that but when it is so loud that you cannot converse easily at your table that is too loud.

My wife and I celebrated my birthday with another couple on Sunday afternoon. Our server Alex was outstanding as he guided us through menu selections and anticipated our every need. The clam chowder was amazing as always and then all of us feasted on cod and Copper River salmon. We topped off a perfect experience with delightful desserts. Highly recommended.

From the moment we entered the host was very welcoming he gave us a perfect table by the window the service was speedy and very pleasant and the food was really good the salmon I had was copper river salmon and it was the best I’ve ever had! The potatoes and zucchini were perfectly done. It was a little pricey so will save it for special occasions.

Excellent food in a great location. We all had something different, and two of the three of us need gluten free choices. I think Dukes has the most array of GF options. Our server was great, too. So sorry I didn't make a note of her name.

My spouse and I had a birthday lunch and ordered cod and chips plus a Dungeness Crab salad. Both luncheon entrees were prepared to perfection. Service was attentive and a nice table with waterfront view on a stormy day. Early lunch so the restaurant was quiet and could have good conversation and leisurely lunch. Really like that the fish was prepared with a light coating and not over cooked. Thank you.

The service was awesome! The host who sat me was engaged and polite. Our waitress was very attentive, without being intrusive. My frustration is in the price. I had the burger special, which was excellent and a nice size but it was $18.95! With tax and tip my meal was $25! I feel like that is a lot for a lunch! My companion had the small seafood salad with a cocktail and her lunch was over $40! Definitely wouldn’t make this a regular stop! Which is unfortunate because of food and you and staff are great.

We've always had exceptional meals at Dukes, And I just wrote a glowing review about our last visit. But today, things were just a little off. The salad that usually wows us was mediocre. It didn't have the usual complement of blue cheese, the greens were tough, and it seemed other ingredients were also missing. My fish & chips, the fish wasn't even warm inside. I don't know if it sat waiting to be brought or wasn't cooked long enough? It was cooked thoroughly, just not hot. My wife said her chowder was also not up to usual standards. Nothing was bad enough to keep us away, we'll be back for sure. But I believe in honest reviews

Love this place! The staff is excellent -- especially Wade and Chelsea! What a pleasant experience they made for us. The food is fantastic, and consistently so. Seafood is excellent and always cooked correctly and served beautifully. The views of the Sound are great, too. Now, my only gripe is that the price of the meals keeps going up, almost too quickly. It seems with each seasonal change, the price of everything increases by $3.00 and goes up from there. I eat here at least 3 times a year and have enjoyed the visit more each time, but I fear the prices are going to exclude a lot of folks from affording to eat at Duke's.

A lot seemed to have changed from only a year or so ago. Dining here used to be special with service and quality beyond what you could ever expect. Tonight’s experience was to be our 35th wedding anniversary celebration. Although we had mentioned this when the reservation was made the staff made no mention of this as they have in the past. The staff were polite, but we felt rushed having not yet finished our appetizer before the main course was served. Finally, the food was average, the fish underdone, and portion size not worth the price paid. Duke’s used to be our go to place for value, quality, and a place to celebrate special occasions. A year ago I would have rated this restaurant second to none. Unfortunately I can no longer do so.

From start to finish, this is what a wonderful dining experience should be like in both my wife and my opinions.
Even though it was very busy, all the staff we saw were very friendly and inviting; it made us feel welcome and right at home! It was great to see Jeff (asst manager) helping the staff and attending to patrons with a genuine smile. Our waitress, Clorisa, was a delight to have tableside and was a major reason we enjoyed this experience so much!
The food (crab deviled eggs, halibut quesadillas, best clam chowder with the best sourdough, ribs with seafood grill, guava sorbet, and the pier pie) was fresh, well prepared and absolutely delicious! Each course was perfect and left a memorable impression that makes us look forward to our next visit.
