   They know nothing about the hospitality side of restaurant business. After my meal started they seated a father with very young, very loud child next to me. Refused to move me (even though it is not my fault). I had to pay a fortune for the "privilege" of enduring an almost two hour long tantrum. Servers and management completely ignored my pleas to be assisted but everyone else with misbehaving loud children is fine? Seriously considering having my bank card issuer cancel this charge. If the management is reading this I would appreciate your reaching out to me for a refund. I did enjoy the food and the (other aspects of) service but it was egregious to ruin my evening like that. I make it a point to go whenever I am in Paris, but never again. You have lost a loyal customer and advocate.

   What a lovely Easter brunch! Delicious food and gracious service in an elegant yet comfortable dining room. Our younger daughter enjoyed the atelier upstairs where she made a Faberge egg and other creations. Would highly recommend!

   Polished service, nice environment and good food beautifully presented . Really enjoyed the tartare of langoustine . It was my brother in law’s birthday and they surprised him with a candle which was a nice touch

   Drouant is a restaurant open on Sunday and there are few of those in Paris. We enjoyed our meal and especially the starter vegetable courses, especially the asparagus with grapefruit. Although vol-au-vent is a signature dish I was disappointed, although the pastry was sublime the filling had a weird texture and the veal and prawns tasted the same. The theatre with the steak tartar made our mouths water before it was presented and was very good. I would recommend the restaurant but I would choose more carefully.

   Drouant a été incroyable du début à la fin. Ma famille et moi sommes arrivés à 10h27 et non seulement la cuisine était sur le point de fermer, mais l'ordinateur du restaurant ne fonctionnait pas non plus. Quoi qu'il en soit, le directeur nous a assis pour une belle soirée. Le serveur a expliqué le menu et répondu à plusieurs questions. Il nous a ensuite guidés étape par étape à travers un tartare de boeuf à côté de la table, ce qui était super. Drouant a l'un des meilleurs filets que j'ai jamais eu avec une sauce exquise et des truffes comme garniture. Encore une fois, merci au personnel de Drouant pour cette merveilleuse nuit.

    I have had a number of set menus before, however, I was rather disappointed at the service received on NYE despite the restaurant not been as busy as expected. We felt very rushed to leave and requested a break after our second course and our main immediately turned up. Steak came out and it wasn’t cooked as requested. Overall expensive for what it was.

    This is not the same as it used to be. Mostly tourists and the menu used to feature French specialties now a thin and pared down version of its former self. While still a pretty place it has lost its French charm. Sad to see.

    Beautiful restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. Food was good, but overpriced for the quality. Magnum of Rose offered was warm on arrival, so they offered ice to put in our glasses - that was a little disappointing. However, the overall experience was good and we would return.

    I celebrated my birthday that weekend and picked Drouant for brunch. Very nice ambiance. Many courses which I didn’t expect. It was pricey even with the conversion. We had multiple tend to us but there was a point where we felt abandoned. I did enjoy overall.

    John 'Dory dish was insignificant in size. Everyone at our table felt sorry for the person who ordered that. Fish was insignificant - could have been resolved by providing more food as sides. The rest of us liked quality and quantity, but when you feel you need to give up some of your food to someone who you think got shorted is not fun for anyone

    Everything from the moment we walked in to the moment we left, was brilliant. It was a meal for my partners birthday. The staff were amazing, and the food was absolutely superb. Wine chosen for us to match are dishes was spot on. I cannot wait to visit here again on our next trip to Paris. An amazing weekend, maybe my best. Thank you to the staff at Drouant.

    We had a brand new server who did not know that John Dory is a fish. They then served the dish without the sauce and had to be reminded - 15 minutes wait with fish getting cold. Sommelier and manager tried to make things better by being nice. If it wasn’t our anniversary, I would have make a fuss !!!

    One of the most 'booked' places on this site; first time in Paris + wisdom of the crowd: worth a shot. We were served bread that tasted bad (rye?)—in Paris, city of bread, bad bread is an anomaly. The appetizers were average for a nice restaurant (smoked salmon with little pancakes) and a 'perfect egg'. My girlfriend for whatever reason was "not that hungry" so we shared a fillet at her request. The 'french fries' [I was so looking forward to] were disappointingly similar to American fare. The steak was a decent cut and tasted good, fine value for the price (49 euro) but nothing extra ordinary. Despite coaxing for her birthday from me, my girlfriend declined a desert prompt from the waiter (the options weren't great anyway), so I asked for the bill, commenting that we had an early morning. Apparently this upset the waiter who then promptly ignored us for over 30 minutes, even avoiding eye contact with me, despite the fact that the restaurant was not full. It was a shame because it changed the mood and our appreciation for our visit to Drouant sharply. It felt intentional and malicious, and almost certainly was. I had to fetch the hostess to get our bill and pay... she was delightful, friendly and prompt and we exchanged some pleasant banter as we paid. She even remarked that she knew it was my girlfriend's birthday (from the reservation) and wished her a happy birthday. IMO, the waiter should be fired and the hostess should get a promotion. It's not bad by any means, but you can find better.
