   Great views and service. Food is fine if not expensive, but between the views as you when you walk through the pool area and sit down with a thematic view of the Hollywood sign, you’ll know why.

   staff was great!! they accommodated us sitting away from the bar, they were all so kind while being understaffed and they were very friendly. the view was beautiful, and the pool/dining areas was so pretty and clean. the food and drinks were just ok, which is why not 5 stars but we would definitely go back!!

   I chose to this place basically for the view. Although the food was esquisite, the service was slow and inattentive.

   I had an 8-person reservation for a business lunch hosting clients and some colleagues from out of town. Unfortunately, the weather was nasty and the rooftop restaurant was not able to open that day. No problem. The problem was, they never called me or texted to me to let me know. I called them 30 minutes before my reservation and found out they wouldn't be able to accommodate us on the rooftop or down in the lobby restaurant. So now I'm scrambling to find a new location, while my clients are already in the car en route to the Dream. Luckily, I belong to The Aster nearby, and they were able to get us in. Honestly, I never even spoke to anyone at the restaurant. I was only able to communicate with someone at the front desk, who was talking to them. The guy at the front desk was a jerk, not very understanding, and literally said to me "hey, don't shoot the messenger." Not exactly the Hyatt-level of service one would expect. I'm sure the food is fine, but obviously this review is not about that. I work down the street at a very well known studio and myself and my team will not be back anytime soon.

   The restaurant was in the lobby during my dining experience which I wish the restaurant could’ve told me during my phone call. This greatly affected my experience. The food was just okay. I dinned here with my cousin for a girls date. As she was eating she found a hair which was disappointing. Not sure if I’ll go back again for a rooftop experience. Besides that the service was okay.
