   I had a very good experience at Drapers. Service was great, cocktails were awesome, and the atmosphere was super. The food was good but not great. I eat at a lot of steak houses and cook them quite a bit for myself and they were decent steaks but certainly not for the price point for almost $50 for their higher end steaks. Even though the steaks were cooked to our order perfectly the texture and chewiness felt more like an outback steak house quality. Still decent, but not worth $50. Overall I’d definitely go back for cocktails or a lunch/brunch but not for the dinner entrees.

   Our waitress was very attentive to our needs. She enhanced the occasion by adding a candle to dessert to celebrate my husband's birthday. The filet mignon & chocolate torte were delicious. We sat near the bar area, which was very loud until happy hour ended at 7 pm. Our meal was wonderful, but we had hoped for a bit more variety in the grill choices, since we do not eat seafood. We will recommend Drapers to others.

   Filet Mignon and Salmon was fantastic. On par with the top steak houses at lower price. space is tall and airy and a tad more casual than Capital Grille. Service was quick and friendly. wine selection was fantastic. We went for our anniversary and will definitely go back.

   Food was just ok, Shrimp and Scallop dish, you had very small shrimp and scallops were no bigger than a dime. Risotto didn’t have a ton of flavor. Salomon was better but somewhat over cooked.

   Our dinner at Draper’s was excellent. Olivia, our server was friendly courteous and efficient. She made the whole dining experience a joy. The menu was nicely varied and all our dishes were delicious. We are looking forward to eating there again very soon.

    It was a disappointing experience. We were looking forward to a special birthday dinner. The decor, ambiance and service were not as expected based on website. A steak was over cooked for request and burger was way undercooked. Salmon and Brussel sprouts were mediocre. Definitely will not be going again to Draper’s.

    Great staff, location, and menu. Good food with some creative dishes, but could do better with the steaks (particularly at those price points). This was our second time in a week, first with friends and then family. Wine bottles are on the pricier end, but good options there. Solid spot overall.

    Very basic inside, no character. Dinner was good, overpriced though. Small piece of salmon for $28. They need to hire a consultant for the desserts, they were mediocre at best. The service was great, Danielle is fantastic. Wine was good. Need to create some signature cocktails.

    For the prices and menu selections, we expected more of an upscale restaurant ( white tablecloths etc).What we experienced was more of a neighborhood bar atmosphere (linoleum booths). This was for our anniversary. The food was outstanding but atmosphere was confusing.

    We go to Draper’s‘s a lot. It is always exceptional. In every respect. The happy hour bar is great with super drinks and a nice selection of apps at nice happy hour prices. Dinner is always good, and brunch is extra special. They are now open for lunch, so run by and grab a burger or salad And enjoy the outdoors if it’s open.

    Visited Drapers for the first time for an anniversary dinner. The manager and waitress were both very nice and accommodating. The filets were great and we had lots of choices for sides and sauces. We had two desserts and they were amazing! Definitely recommend visiting!

    Very nice restaurant. Server, Kerrie, was outstanding, knowledgeable, friendly and extremely competent. Food tasted good. I think for the price, that my dinner (rockfish with asparagus risotto) was a little small. It may have needed another side or something. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.     Beautiful restaurant with nice staff and a good vibe. Their wait staff is very friendly but don't seem to be quite as attentive as you'd want. There are some highlights on the menu, like the french toast, but the eggs benedict and some of the other brunch items were just okay. Not exactly inspired. Overall we like Draper's, we just want it to be an outstanding local restaurant but right now it's just a good one.

    We are not picky eaters and generally go with the flow but I will not go back to this place. The server was kind but messed up our order (mistakes happen) but the food was terrible. Not worth the money for sure. We could overlook mistakes made to our order but the quality of the food given the prices was very poor. Will not be returning.

    The food was subpar for the price. 6 ppl, entree each and 2 desserts, no alcohol just tea and a couple cokes for $320. I got a seafood risotto that was very salty, very small shrimp and scallops for $35 (I would have priced it around $20). Everything else was okay… but if you factor in the price, disappointing. We tried it once but likely won’t be back. Go to Arties. Reasonable, consistently good. Also, for 6:30 on a Saturday it was very empty. Sounds like other patrons may feel similarly. Too bad, really looking forward to something new.

    Alright, so listen up folks. The servers at this joint are nice and friendly, and the restaurant itself is pretty swanky. But let me tell you - the food is nothing to write home about. I mean, I met up with a friend who lives way out in Fairfax, and we decided to give this place a try. And while the price point wasn't too bad, I definitely wouldn't go back for the food. I ordered the benedict and it was like...meh. Just kind of mediocre, you know? Like the culinary equivalent of a shrug. I paid around 25 bucks for it, but honestly, I could have made a better one at home. Not bad, not great. All in all, if you're looking for mediocre food with good service, this might be your spot. But if you're like me and you're always on the hunt for that next great meal, you might want to skip this one.

    It was perfect for our birthday lunch. Allergies accommodated and service was amazing. Desserts were the highlight. I think our table got one of everything and all of them were excellent. Thank you Drapers and staff for such a lovely afternoon.

    Great food, great atmosphere and amazing service. We loved everything we ordered, from appetizers to their NY Strip and seafood risotto, but their service was what sealed the deal for us. From the time you walk into the door until you leave, everyone goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and ensure everything is taken care of. My only warning is about parking, plan ahead as parking is very limited at the restaurant itself...but don't let that stop you from giving them a try, they are well worth a little extra walk.

    I was really excited to try this place considering that there aren't many quality restaurants in Fairfax and I'm always looking for a reason to avoid having to drive 10+ miles to find one. However, I was unexpectedly disappointed. I ordered the Shrimp and Scallop Rosotto which advertised the Scallops as "jumbo", but they were far from that. The Rosotto was anything but that; it looked like a mashed-up something, saturated in small pool of butter. Upon informing the staff, they acknowledged the discrepancies and the inaccuracy between what was described in the menu versus what I was served. Their attempt to compensate for my dissatisfaction was an offer of additional scallops which I didn't think was commensurate to the $130 (before the tip) tab I paid which included a $55 ribeye that was ordered medium, but served medium-well. Needless to say, I was disappointed and likely will not be returning. On a positive note, the HH menu is pretty good, but not enough to draw me back in.

    We went during restaurant week and the food was mediocre. Prior to arriving I called to adjust the reservation and had an either untrained or unprofessional hostess give me vague answers about whether or not my reservation could be changed. There were several issues with the food itself and we struggled to find a staff member to ask questions or ask for salad dressing (was served just a bow of dry lettuce with 2 croutons) or for the fish to be cooked all the way through (center was raw). Ended up not eating our meals at the same time because the issue took significant time to correct. Cheesecake was warm and had no fruit with it, just grenadine drizzled on top with melted store-bought whipped cream.

    We came for brunch and had high expectations. Service was excellent, though a little slow (not the server's fault). The brunch menu is not extensive but there's something for everyone. My companions enjoyed their unremarkable salad, French toast and potatoes, though one plate had a hair in the toast. My steak and eggs came with a chimichurri sauce that tasted unlike any other chimi I've ever had and not in a good way--it was like a mouthful of grass. Unfortunately, it ruined the steak for me, and the eggs that the sauce bled onto. The steak itself was perfectly cooked though, so no fault there. The value is what gets me--the prices are about 25% higher than I would like to pay for what we got and add-ons are very expensive. I want to love Draper's because of the location and the chic atmosphere but I don't think we will be back for a meal other than their excellent happy hour.
