First time dining at Draper's on a Friday night. Was pretty loud at our table which was right next to bar area with loud music and boisterous crowd at bar! Did not know tables were so close to bar area. If I knew, I would not go on a Friday night. My pan seared sea bass was cooked to perfection and my compliments to fish chef!! My husband's prime rib was overcooked. By the time the server came around to check he did not want to send it back to kitchen. Cocktails were very good. For the price of entrees and cocktails I would rather go to 2941, especially to order red meat!

I’ve noticed the steak wedge salad has gone down in portion size for same price.

Nice restaurant with good food. But… Even though we made a reservation they did not have a table set up even though it was not crowded. We never had a server which meant other servers were coming to check on us even though we were not their table. Food was good but not worth it.

Went to Draper's for a birthday lunch and had a great experience from start to finish, thanks to terrific service from CJ and a very accommodating staff. My mom is hearing-impaired, so they seated us in the most quiet spot and, though we didn't ask for this, lowered the volume on the music. We loved the crab dip and the crabcakes. Too full for dessert but look forward to coming back!

Food always tasty. I had the berries and cream at brunch and the marshmallow crème is delicious.

First time at Draper's. Went for birthday celebration. Enjoyed the intimacy of a small venue. Moderate noise despite being at full capacity. Excellent bar selection and curated wine list. Server, Talisa, was truly exceptional, responsive, informative, and accommodating. Food was very well prepared, served and plated. Kitchen had an accuracy issue with one order, but when pointed out to Talisa was immediately corrected and represented by who appeared to be the Expediter (nice touch showing responsiveness). Noted that server had to deal with more than one mix-up at other tables. Prices were a bit "elevated" for the grilled fare, but it was nicely done - so - get what you pay for. Overall, very satisfied and appreciated the "birthday courtesy" provided. Go back again? Well, we signed up for email loyalty list so - absolutely.

This was our first visit to Draper's and we enjoyed it immensely. I like the design of the room, and even the size of it as more welcoming. The menu has all the right choices; and I went for the baby back ribs which were excellent. Nice wine and drinks list too.

Overall, it was a very enjoyable evening with a few areas that could use some fine-tuning. The highlight of our visit was certainly the food. My wife ordered the crab cake sandwich, which was perfectly seasoned and generously portioned, while I opted for the Chilean sea bass, served with grilled asparagus and fingerling potatoes. The fish was beautifully cooked—delicate, flaky, and full of flavor. The vegetables were fresh and nicely charred, rounding out a plate that was both balanced and satisfying. We were also impressed by the kitchen’s careful attention to food allergies, which gave us peace of mind and showed a commendable level of professionalism. We happened to visit on a half-price wine night, which was a nice perk, but unfortunately, the first two bottles we requested were unavailable. That was frustrating, and it took some of the shine off what should have been a great value. A bit more transparency about the wine list availability—or a suggestion from the server on alternatives—would have helped ease the disappointment. Service overall was fine, but not particularly memorable. While our server was polite, the pacing felt a little uneven and we sometimes found ourselves waiting longer than expected for follow-ups. The restaurant’s ambience is stylish and inviting, making it a pleasant place to unwind. However, the music was noticeably loud—enough that we had to raise our voices to carry on a conversation, which detracted from the otherwise relaxed atmosphere. All in all, Draper’s serves excellent food and shows great care in the kitchen. With a bit more polish in service and attention to the dining environment, it could easily go from good to exceptional.

My dinner was exactly as expected but my husband’s steak was horrid. He was so disappointed. He did speak to the server and we were comped a dessert (which was good) but he’d been looking forward to the steak

We had good food. Similar to coastal flats in menu but price is a little higher. Noise level is high.
