It’s been that way since Drago & Klara Cvitanovich opened our restaurant in 1969. They set out to offer delicious seafood and a good time to guests for a reasonable price. At that time, they couldn’t even imagine how many guests that would become.

Today it’s still a family atmosphere. Klara is still at the front to greet our guests. Tommy Cvitanovich, Drago and Klara’s son, is there to see that things run smoothly.

Thank you for choosing Drago’s Seafood Restaurant at Hilton New Orleans Riverside for your dining experience. We don’t accept reservation, however, walk-ins are always welcome to join us. Hope to see you soon!

Coral was an amazing server from start to finish. Despite the price you get a ton of food. Charbroiled oysters are a must. Lobster Marco and Mac Daddy were delish! Will be returning!

I've always said you can't find a bad meal in New Orleans. Well, Drago's at the Riverside Hilton proved me wrong. The lobster was overcooked and tasted like it had been frozen and rubbery texture. The crawfish etouffee was watery and over spiced to the point of being the only favor. Worst meal I've ever had in my years of visiting NOLA.

I didn’t care for this visit. I’d been frequenting this location for years, and the quality of food/ drinks has gone down. Our first batch of chargrilled oysters had to be sent back. There was hardly any cheese and butter on it, and a whole lot of overpowering herbs. Our waiter was gracious enough to take back and get the kitchen to make us another dozen. They were better, but still not up to the standard set by previous visits. Additionally, my drink came out lukewarm. The waiter was our saving grace, but based on this last visit, I will not be rushing to come here again any time soon.

Our flight was delayed and we arrived at the Hilton 2 minutes prior to our reservation. We asked Drago's to hold our reservation for 15 minutes but they would not. They would not hold it for even 5 minutes. I had to sit immediately and hold the table while hubby took luggage to the room. Service was decent. Ambiance was loud and noisy and busy. Charbroiled oysters were seriously lacking in flavor and we were VERY disappointed as we love oysters. Gator bites were very yummy as was the crabmeat grilled cheese. The jambalaya and the gumbo were ok. There are way better places to go for a terrific meal, especially at this price point. But if you're stuck at the Hilton for a conference, this place is passable, especially if someone else is picking up the tab.

Everything was just OK. The hostess, the service, the food all just OK. I usually get better everything at Chili’s, Outback, Olive Garden…. Ah, and they are now cashless.

Great food and service! We were a party of 10 and there wasn't any one person disappointed. The charbroiled oysters and Fleur De Lis Shrimp were amazing. I had the twin steak filets topped with crabmeat and everything was perfectly cooked. They did run out of Lobster, but it was a Monday and a large convention was going on so somewhat understandable. The menu was large and diverse enough to select many other options. Again, great spot for dinner and we'll be back.
