This was our second visit, and unfortunately, it did not live up to our first experience. The ambiance was lacking, the kitchen service was noticeably slow, and there was no live music as previously enjoyed. Additionally, the published dress code was not enforced, which contributed to an environment that felt less refined, including inappropriate behavior at nearby tables that made our group uncomfortable. We also encountered a ceiling leak, which further detracted from the overall experience. I had high hopes of bringing my cousins based on my first visit, but sadly, I won't be returning.

Awesome brunch spot! beautiful ambience and decor. Our waitress was excellent, checked on us like 10X. Had the lobster and grits and a mimosa tower. My date had the crab cake and salmon benedict, also looked delicious. The music was also on point and brunch appropriate - highly recommend!

My friend and I tried Doves for the first time for brunch. Average experience, if even. There wasn’t a hostess at the front to greet any guests walking in. My friend and I both got a Bellini to drink, which honestly took awhile to come considering we and another group were the only people in the restaurant. I ended up ordering the oxtail hash for my food, and my friend got the steak & eggs and the cinnamon sweet potato waffle. All of the food was mid. My oxtail hash was okay, but not great. My friend felt that the grits she chose as a side was the best thing about her entree. Both of our eggs were overcooked despite specifying that we wanted over easy and over medium eggs. Her steak was overcooked even though she ordered medium rare. I was surprised on the whole experience because the restaurant was NOT busy. Overall, I think Doves is overrated.

The service and hospitality were great. I thoroughly enjoyed the fish and grits. The white sangria was perfect. The only thing I would say is that the entertainment was a little too loud. It felt as if we were interrupting his concert. The management graciously turned down the volume so my friend and I didn’t have to scream at one another to converse. I would definitely go back!

The venue is beautifully decorated and has a lot of potential, but the limited space significantly impacts the overall experience. The tables are placed too close together, making it difficult to move around without bumping into others while you are eating. This lack of space led to frequent interruptions as people brushed past our table. While I appreciated the strict dress code—it added a touch of elegance—I believe a code of conduct should also be enforced. Several guests were standing up and dancing provocatively during dinner, which made it hard to enjoy the meal in peace. This is a restaurant not a club. Overall, the ambiance and concept are promising, but these issues detracted from the experience.

First time visiting. Went during happy hour and ended up ordering everything twice—it was that good. The Dove cocktail was hella good—definitely recommend. Our server Kennedy was excellent and super attentive. You wouldn’t even guess she was new. Great experience all around!
