Dough Pizzeria Napoletana is an authentic Naples style pizzeria located close to the San Antonio International Airport. Dough is known for their two wood burning ovens that cook the pizzas at 900 degrees+ in 90 seconds, as well as their house pulled mozzarella cheese, all-Italian wine list, Kimbo coffee imported from Naples, Italy and their house made desserts/breads!

They source as many products from Italy as possible and work closely with local farmers to ensure the freshest seasonal ingredients. All their pizzas are available Gluten Free. Signature items include the "Truffle Burrata,” the "Pork Love Pizza" and the “Limoncello Torta.”

Opened in 2007 by owners Doug & Lori Horn, Dough has been featured on The Food Network’s "DDD", USA Today, Food & Wine Magazine, The New York Times, the Guardian, Rachael Ray’s Everyday, Texas Monthly Magazine and holds multiple titles for best local pizzeria in San Antonio.

    This was literally the best pizza experience I’ve ever had! They accomodated special requests we had for our pizza with ease and the server was very upbeat and knowledgable.

    We book for 4 but we add one more so its nice that they still accommodate us but the girl said that next time they not gonna accept reservation anymore...the food was awesome and the burrata with prosciutto is our favorite and their pork love pizza is the best

    Texas is stocked full of great Steak and BBQ... but you would have to travel long and hard to find the quality and value of Dough Napoletana. Extremely creative pizza menu leveraging the freshness and taste of the toppings instead of a sauce or dough (although the sauce and the dough are perfect backgrounds for the toppings.) Find a way to work this into your schedule. Skip the Alamo... do whatever you have to do to get to this place.

    Absolutely love this place. The burrata is delicious (try all of them! I’m making my way through each one with each visit) and the made to order pizza never fails. I do wish their service was a little better, our server didn’t seem very attentive and whenever we wanted to ask for something he’d pretend he didn’t hear us until we got another server’s attention.

    Excellent customer service, attention to every detail in the art of pizza making. Charcuterie is sliced with an authentic Italian slicer-so thin it melts in your mouth. It was an absolutely perfect evening for our Valentines celebration. The owners and chef welcomed us and made this one of the most enjoyable dining experiences I have ever had. If you want authentic Neopolitan pizza and food crafted with every attention to detail, you will love this place. In fact, it was so good, my wife and I are going here again tonight before leaving town.

    Hands down one of the top places I’ve eaten. Mozzarella apps were so amazing, pizza was superb, waiter knew what to recommend. Awesome date night.

    It was a good surprise!!! The pizza was just excellent!!! I really recommend it! The fresh burratta with truffled oil was delicious! Don`t miss it!

    The most delicious gluten free pizza I have ever tried! The crust is unbelievable. It is also very hearty. We had of the incredible truffle barratas for an appetizer so I could only eat about half a pizza. The meal experience and service were incredible. Smiles and great discussions from all who worked there. We live out of town and many local friends raved about this restaurant so we were compelled to try it. To note, this was our second time to visit this place. The first time some kind of fluke happened and they were understaffed so it wasn't as smooth as it could have been. However the food was still delicious. I am glad we gave it another chance because I will now be highly recommending it as well.
