Dorrego’s, is named for the famed Plaza Dorrego, a public square located in the historic San Telmo neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Hotel Valencia Riverwalk draws inspiration from the rich culinary heritage of Argentina. He carries a rich history of many hotels and restaurants that brings a diverse culinary experience to our table. An extensive wine list will be a focal point for diners. The restaurant’s décor reflects the Spanish Colonial design and architectural heritage of Argentina, with a touch of Parisian bistro panache. Dorrego’s also features a new restaurant bar, and the welcoming space is ideal for gathering and lingering. Dorrego’s appealing terrace features additional seating topped with comfortable Spanish/Mediterranean-style cushions. The terrace features numerous planter pots, which blend the space into its tranquil River Walk setting.

The atmosphere was nice, sitting out by the riverwalk. We enjoyed the cocktails, bread, and empanadas, but our steaks were very bland- tasted completely unseasoned.

Pésima experiencia, reserve con más de 3 semanas de anticipación, el día 31 de Diciembre, un día antes recibí el correo para confirmar y lo hice. Me presenté la hora y día señalado y me comenta el gerente que tenían evento privado y no reconocían la reservación por open table. Ya no pude encontrar otro restaurante cerca y mi familia de 10 personas nos perdimos la cena de año nuevo. MUY MALA EXPERIENCIA

The beef tenderloin was excellent. The lemon chicken was good but a very small portion for the price. 1 small breast and a few potatoes. Drink service from the bar was crazy slow. It was not busy and we waited 10 minutes for a drink

The ambience was very nice. The food was pretty good. Although some of of dishes were cold. For instance the linguini with clams and the beef tenderloin came out lukewarm but was good. The shrimp appetizer was really good.

The melted provolone cheese was served in a very shallow pan and cooled almost instantly; couldn't scoop it with the coustini. Stew was only lukewarm, and fish special was just so-so. The outside patio was lovely and quiet. The server, Antonio, was delightful and professional.

This is a hidden jewel inside the beautiful Hotel Valencia. Arrived early for our reservation but was joyfully greeted and seated. The service was wonderful, the food magnificent, and the cocktails were amazing. I keep coming back, just can't get enough of this place. We had, steak bites for our picky eater, she said didn't know which was better, the steak or the bread, l had Paella for the first time. A delicious dish full of clams, mussels, scallops and shrimp, Pollo al sarten, the best chicken we have ever tasted, cooked with lemon-garlic and thyme, and not one but two orders of the grilled provolone cheese served with pesto, tomatoes and crostini bread and set on fire at the table. Everything was beyond delicious! Not to mention our cocktails, highly recommend the espresso martini or the blackberry bramble. They also have a great selection of wines. However, as great as the food and drink was, they did not compare to the fabulous service we received. Thank you Dorregos for another wonderful experience. See you again soon!

Our server, Esther, was wonderful! Unfortunately both of our steaks were undercooked and had to be sent back. The frites with my meal were also a little under cooked and not hot. That being said, Esther noticed immediately and worked to swiftly get it fixed. The manager also stopped by to apologize & applied a discount to our meal for the inconvenience. While we didn’t have the best meal, the service was enough for us to say we would come again. Everyone has a bad day once in a while!
