homemade sausage, peas, vodka sauce
organic tomatoes, fresh basil, extra virgin olive oil
homemade, fresh tomato sauce, basil
Great food and ambiance but super slow service . Buon appetito
Outside patio is beautiful !
Service pleasant but food disappointing
Great octopus. The pappardelle was alright.
We love Dopo!
Good menu, nice restaurant vibe but the service was awful. Our waiter could not engage and barely walked over even though they weren't busy at all. We gave feedback to the hostess and she made it clear she could care less as well. Would skip and go next door to Fresno!!
Great place for outdoor seating. Food was very good. Higher prices though.
Food good. Service not so good. Our order was taken about 30-40 minutes after arrival. After another 30-40 minutes, waiter tells us “there was a problem with the printer in the kitchen and the order was never taken”. We had to reorder from scratch. (What happened to the order he wrote on his pad?). After another 20 minutes we spoke to a manager because none of the appetizers we ordered needed cooking so why couldn’t they get those out? Entrees followed finally (food was good). After entrees we were asked about dessert. No offer to comp dessert (a rather standard way to make amends). By that time it was late, and we declined. This is a level of service that is unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber.
Very mediocre experience in food and service. Waiter wasn’t engaged and food was “just fine” but nothing memorable or extraordinary or even great. Disappointing
Robert the server is the best
Very disorganized service; food very good; very noisy; table next to kitchen door with servers in/out and plates dropping.
I love this place because of the garden seating on a beautiful night. The food and service are always great.
Always a top pick. It’s also cozy when the fall season comes and the fire place is going. Nice indoor bar as well.
Earlier is better for me, like most Hamptons places, they tend to get louder and louder as the night goes on. So if you want a bit less volume and enjoy your companions, before 7:30 is best.
In the Hamptons with high prices the norm, this place is at the top end for no reason other than people here will pay it. We had to ask a our servers repeatedly for silverware, water, water refills, to order drinks, salt, the pepper milll, the check, the check again—this time with my credit card. Top notch prices did nothing give us even adequate service. Nor did we see any better service at nearby tables. The problem was nit the kitchen getting the food out; it was getting the servers to do their jobs. Nit returning soon.
Enjoyable, Delicious food, quiet dining experience.
My favorite in East Hampton! Great food, lovely setting inside and outside in the garden, terrific food and good service.
love this restaurant! outdoor space is lovely. food is great
Food consistently good, service good, very reliable
Outdoor patio and excellent decor and food
Lovely outdoor dining venue. Delicious pasta. Servers seemed a bit overwhelmed but did a good job!
We have been eating here twice a month for the past couples of month. Their outdoor garden setting is wonderful, and I hope they have heat lamps for the fall
All the entrees have been quite good, as have the salads but the salads are overpriced
Definitely recommend Dopa.
Absolutely the best Italian restaurant on the East Coast!
We had an outdoor reservation, but we’re told on arrival that it would be a 40 minute wait. We were offered an inside table with distance. We took it and then no one came to the table for at least 15 minutes. Food was good, but overall experience was not one to be repeated.
I have been here many times and the food is consistently full of flavors and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We had a decent dinner! The menu was uninspired however. We had flounder, done nicely and chicken milanase , also done nicely but both I could make at home easily in 10 minutes. And we had tuna tartare. The portion was TINY and the charge was $28! Drinks were $19 which is very high as well. All in all, it was a pleasant experience but nothing to write home about!
Stopped in for dinner. Bartender was great when he was there but he said he was running both bars so we went long periods of time without any help. Food started out great carpaccio was amazing and the kale Caesar salad was as well. The turn of the night happened at the Entrees we had some kind of Ragu that had Absolutely no flavor the fish was OK at best but the veggies and potatoes were flavorless. No seasoning seriously bland. The. We got the mushrooms as a side and they smelled spoiled.
Always a nice experience
This restaurant last year had much better results from the kitchen. Fir the price the food was very disappointing.
The rigatoni with sausage peas and tomato sauce was dry
Needed more sauce.
Beet salad was very good.
Service was great, food good and ambiance very nice
Lovely feel, great food and service
Patio on a Weds nite in Aug was crowded
Lots of families with kids
We have been here before, but this time the tables were crammed in and many people were by the bar so it was noisy and crowded. I ordered the fluke piccata and it was poorly done.
I would have rated service higher, but our server's mask was on his chin the entire night. Someone in management should have addressed it
We had to wait over 30 minutes for our table even though we made a reservation
Food is mediocre and prices are out of control. Staff works hard but there is not enough. long waits for drinks especially. Outdoor seating is lovely.
Consistently good food & service which isn't always easy to find on the East End. The back patio can't be beat. It feels like an oasis away from the insanity of summer in The Hamptons!
Date night food and service not very good. .
Had a 745 reservation showed up at 7:30 was told I had to wait 30 to 40 minutes for outside didn’t get to see down outside until one hour later in the meantime for 4 other tables were served some with people without even reservations outdoors .because there were three people or four people they would’ve split up two tables for two people .The front desk ladies told me if I wanted to eat right away I would have to sit somewhere where I didn’t want to sit or I can go to the bar and have a drink . two things I didn’t want to do having a reservation at 7:45 and I’ll let them know that they had to accommodate me not that I had accommodate them with that being said they seriously need to be trained it’s a shame because the food is really good but it’s not worth going to be abused
First time here. Service was attentive. The food was amazing. Wine was delicious. Angie was friendly and attentive. Made sure our water was filled, plates cleared. Lavina, sorry if wrong, was a great waitress. She answered questions and gave suggestions. We had a good time.
