    AWFUL Food!!! Who serves one piece of overcooked, dry chicken parmigiana on a large plate without spaghetti or a vegetable accompanying it ? Barely any cheese on it and hard to chew. Same goes for overcooked Branzino with nothing accompanying it! Food was terrible and prices high for the quality. Will not be returning and will be passing on our experience to our friends out here! Shameful!!!

    First time at Buttero - an Italian steakhouse. Three of the four in our party ordered Italian. The pasta was ok but not great for the price. The eggplant parm was heavy and over loaded with cheese. The burrata app was good but could have use more figs and we couldn't even taste any truffle honey. Crabcake was good but could have used more avocado cream. Waitstaff was attentive and ambiance is nice- especially outdoors.

    We asked for advice for a side dish and waitress recommended lemon spinach. It arrived and it was full of garlic and didn’t taste at all like lemon. When we told the waitress that we found it overpowering and not what we would have ordered if we had known about the garlic. She said she would tell the chef but never offered to take it off the bill. After everything we spent it left us feeling like the restaurant didn’t care if we ever came back. Would have been an easy gesture to take it off the bill

    Wow! I was disappointed that Dopo La Spiaggia was gone, but Buterro replaced it. We just dined at Buterro & simply put... they definitely upped their game. The food was spectacular. I started with a crabcake appetizer that was spicy & soooo delicious. Next I had Bigoli, which was spaghetti & seafood in parchment paper & that was incredibly favorable. My husband started with Eggplant Parmigiana and followed with Branzino... both were excellent. While I rarely note a dessert menu, this one was worthy of mention. We shared the lemon gelato & it was truly wonderful. Last, the setting was exquisite. We dined alfresco, the gardens were devine. We had a memorable meal, our one ding is the music... I was'nt our thing.

    Very interesting choices Try the seafood dish cooked in parchment paper and veal scallopine. Also ricotta cheese cake and coffee gelato Beautiful place and meal and service.

    This is a place reborn! Same GM / MD, Kurt who is welcoming and in control but menu is totally different from Dopa. Kim at the bar is superb and the cucumber flavored margarita is recommendable. Great food, great atmosphere. Brilliant!

    The food was okay, but the service was not good at all. While I was still eating, they took away my appetizer. We ordered steak, but unfortunately, we didn't receive steak knives. I asked three times for them, but they never arrived.

    The evening was magical. From the margaritas and the appetizers all the way through to the iced espressos and dessert, everything was wonderful. Service was top-notch. Pastas...amazing. And, of course, the ambiance, in the garden, was perfect for a summer night!

    Great food and great service! We love all the dopos and we have been excited to try the new steakhouse. I had the filet mignon which was cooked to perfection, and the garlic/anchovy sauce that came with it was so unique and delicious. The shishito peppers and tuna tartare are also a must. We will be back!

    Service was way off. Waited 30 minutes for the waitress to come to the table. Other tables where guests arrived after us were getting their bread. We saw service was poor so we ordered dinner with drinks. Didn't really help. Huge delay in getting drinks. We needed to ask for our bread basket since it was not coming (and we saw others getting theirs). Food was good. We have eaten many times when it was Dopo and even Race Lane, and this was the first time with such a poor service experience. Manager was active walking around, but not really managing the situation and getting things resolved. We saw other diners constantly getting up from their tables coming to wait staff with issues at their tables. This doesn't create a pleasant dining experience for a fairly expensive restaurant.

    We were certain to arrive on time for a 7:30 reservation as the restaurant policy states they will hold the table for only 10 minutes. Upon arrival we were told they were running 20-30 minutes late because there had been rain earlier that made the outdoor space unusable. They didn’t have the courtesy to call or text regarding the situation to give us the option to make alternate plans. Ultimately we were seated an hour past the reservation time. Further, when I book a table for 3, I do not expect to be squeezed in to a two top where we were literally pushed around by the servers. This is the third time it has happened at this restaurant. As for the food, the appetizers were ridiculous. A chopped salad ($18) was literally a half cup. The burrata arrived undressed with with 3 fig halves ($25). The figs were not caramelized nor was there truffle honey as the menu stated. Moreover, it was more mozzarella than burrata. Think stringy mozzarella. We would have liked bread, but apparently that’s a la carte now ($6). The shrimp and truffle pasta ($32) was excellent. As was the branzino ($44). The chicken parm ($36) was passable at best. No flavor. The server was attentive and apologetic, because the kitchen was sending out food at a glacial pace. It took well more than 30 minutes after they cleared the appetizer for the entrees to arrive. We declined coffee and desert. We couldn’t wait to get out of there. The other Dopo restaurants are so incredibly well run. This was very disappointing. Find somewhere else until management gets its act together.

    One of our favorite EH spots has re-emerged in a new and vibrant form as an Italian steakhouse. It’s the same great staff led by some of the best managers in the business. If you’re looking for a great meal, terrific atmosphere (especially the garden) top level wine list and a playlist that is as creative as the food - get to Buttero now!

    I’m confused. Why the name change when the menu is basically the same with a few steak additions? I don’t get it. That aside, I have always been a huge fan of this particular Dopo location. Never had anything but a stellar experience. Tonight however, not so much. The Pomodoro salad was served iced cold (tomatoes lose their flavor when chilled, much less served nearly frozen). They gladly took the dish off our bill. Then, the steak….supposedly the new draw to the newly named restaurant. We ordered the ribeye. It was tough. Not flavorful. So….a big disappointment tonight after a long run of amazing meals. I am happy to say the host/manager and staff are as warm and friendly as ever. I hope the kitchen pulls it together. That’s the problem here.

    1.Waiter not able to comprehend English,unable to tell us bottled water brand.2.After he told me the Tequila brands & I explained How I wanted Margarita, he said Martini 3.He could not answer question about snchovies in the Table side made for two Ceaser salad & lacked the common sense to ask the kitchen or manager4. A Caesar salad made table side is made per recipe, evidently there is no comunication nor leadership in this restaurant that the Latino waiter can't communicate,nor have common sense to ask for guidance.5.The Table side Ceasar came out as 1 salad on a plate with the extra anchovies we asked for, but th a anchovy discussion took forever since the manager & websites knew nothing.6.The lack of any knowledge make the following statements; * There is no qualified person managing this place*Who ever owns the place will loose money with no care that this place is a mess.7,The thin bone in Ribeye had no sesoning (s&p) flavor,the flake salt was a great touch, that was used in entirely on the steak 8.The Bourbon Chile sauce had no bourbon but you could taste the chili in a brown liquid called sauce. The cook lacks knowledge around cooking.No seasoning on meat,lacks knowledge how to make sauce,does not taste food!9.My 2nd Margarita had no Triple Sec or Cointreau as the big bar man who was talking to a man at the bar while he the bartender constantly sipped his drink. May be two drink orders came in,it was slow. 10. The Cappuccino was not made correctly, it was coffee with hot milk. Bottom line people with no food knowledge & dont want to spend money, won't know anything.Buttero is just another poor excuse for a restaurant out here.
