   This was second time at DOPO, we were huge fans of DOP, and DOPO doesn't disappoint! Amazing food, great wine and wonderful service!

   Mixed feelings about Dopo. Got a last minute reservation by chance for a group of 5. The service was attentive and solid. The food tasty but the portions are definitely on the smaller side. We should have ordered much more as we tried to eat 'family style' and their portions are not designed for that. We ordered the Whipped Ricotta, green tomatoes and fried bread - had to order 3 items to get this and I believe we each had 1-2 bites. Not great. The Pasta course was good - the gnocchi was decent - not the best I have had. We had one other pasta - also just okay and definately the portion was built for two - not five. For a secondi, we had the feature scallops with artichokes which was Excellent - but also - built for two - or even one person. So much beautiful sauce was left on the plate as there was no bread for soaking it up to be found. For dessert (the highlight of the night) - we enjoyed the light and delicious tiramisu and the lemon torta. I would recommend this place for an intimate dinner for two in a Euro-style rustic atmosphere. or a night on the company expense account where you could enjoy all four courses and not be concerned about the bill. Not the best Italian I have had in Calgary (or elsewhere) but not bad.

   Food was amazing and initial service was great. We were asked to change tables before we had even been there for 2 hours, and then promptly served the bill and machine - Clear signals that we were being pushed to leave. Little strange.

   Dopo was an outstanding experience. The combination of exceptional food and impeccable service made it the perfect place to enjoy a wonderful dinner. I would highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates not only excellent cuisine but also an outstanding customer experience.

   What a wonderful night spent celebrating our anniversary! Anthony and Dom, you’re the real ones… thank you for making our first visit to DOPO and epic one! Also? The GF pasta was, in fact, next level!

   We went for my birthday dinner and were seated at the bar. We ordered two appetizers, two mains and four glasses of wine. DOPO only allocated us an hour forty five for the dinner- start to finish. 5 minutes before our “allocated time” was set to end our dinner plates were wisked away the second we stopped eating and we were brought the bill, asked to pay and leave with two 1/2 full wine glasses. It was an extremely abrupt and and unpleasant end to a dinner. I felt rushed and unwelcome. We were not told about the very tight timeline when we were seated and were encouraged to order the appetizers before our mains. Food was good but overall was extremely uncomfortable being rushed out, brought the bill and payment terminal without being asked and didn’t get to finish my wine.

   Sat at the bar this evening and had one of the best meals, I’ve had in a long time! The staff, service, cocktails and food was 10/10. The icing on the cake was leaving after an amazing experience, all the staff said the most kind words as we left. “Have a good evening, love you friends”. Left with full belly’s and warm hearts!

   Delicious food! Gluten free pasta & bread options were available too, so my husband, who has a wheat intolerance was very happy. Excellent service & recommendations by our server Chelsea. Can’t wait to return!
