Kitchen sent the house salad to the table without any dressing. Waitress said it is supposed to be on the side and obviously they didn’t. Took her a while to get back to the table and my dining partner already finished his appetizer. Ordered half rack of ribs with fingerling potatoes instead of fries. Still came to the table with fries, no fingerlings. Ribs were not that great. The entire experience was mediocre.

It was very busy when we arrived at 7:30 and rather noisy with the staff scurrying about. However, it calmed down by 8pm and we had a marvelous dinner with wine, salad and hamburger. The waiter was wonderful and quickly provided additional salad dressing, etc. We had a great chat with him as well. Highly recommend.

I had a reservation thanks to Open Table. Usually this is a good place to go. Last night, it was very busy, noisy and untidy. I ordered a filet, and while it was cooked correctly, it was very much lacking in every other respect. It was “fine” but I expect more for $40. Everyone else’s food was also “fine” , nothing special. This place is tired. Disappointed.

Drove up from Minneapolis to meet family for lunch, there were eight of us. We had a reservation but we were seated near the entrance. It was quite busy and loud. I’ve been here a couple times before and it was always good. I had the chicken wild rice soup and it wasn’t very good this time, others said the same about their meal. Will probably return but not at a busy time of day.

We were there on a busy week night celebrating our wedding anniversary. Wine was half off (and delicious), our server was very attentive and personable, and the food was almost perfect. My husband thought his steak needed a little more seasoning, and the fingerling potatoes were more like crispy fries, but other than that, we loved every other aspect of our experience. We will definitely be returning to Doolittles soon.

The food was very good overall. My daughter ordered a steak entree -- Steak was very good but thought they were a bit sparse on the asparagus and potatoes for the price of the entree. Service was excellent! We sat out on the patio - was surprised the road noise from the street wasn't that bad - helped that there are mature trees and shrubbery. Was a great experience as I haven't been there in several years.

I have been coming here for over 10 years and this was the most disappointing time. I read other reviews on Trip Advisor and Yelp, should have taken the reviews into more consideration before going. Just a really poor experience.

Our server Jordan was extremely personable and was a pleasure to speak with. Jordan provided great service and made solid recommendations. All in all the food was really good and enjoyed the atmosphere and there was a pretty packed house which noise factor was up. However a strong recommendation from our dining experience.
